How I Get SOLO-ADS To Promote "Non IM" Offers...

A buddy of mine and highly esteemed internet marketing coach, Jason Parker turned me on to this.

I consider myself an expert in many areas of IM including creating and sending profitable solos. So, to say I feel a bit stupid for never thinking of this would be accurate.

Anyway, all you need to do to use solos to promote other stuff "non-IM" is to find click bank vendors in your market and email them, asking if they will send a solo-ad to their list for you.

Lets use a report on "how to catch your man cheating....".

You'd use Quantcast to find the demographics for your offer (if you're promoting an affiliate product) or to find the demographics of an offer LIKE yours (if you're promoting your own).

Doing this with what I'll call the "infidelity" market, we know that the demo is "middle aged women" so that's who we will target.

So.......

Lets think about what vendors over at CB have [i]"middle aged women"[i] on their lists.

Off the top of my head.... Weight loss, Dating (for women) and perhaps cooking.

That's just a few.

I'm sure you could find even more markets with that demographic with a little time on Quantcast.Com

So, lets say we decide to promote our "cheating" report to weight loss buyers (oh yeah, the beautiful thing about this is that the CB vendors have huge BUYER lists of people who have bought their product).

We'd head over to the CB market place and pick out 20 or so "weight loss" offers that appear to be decent to great sellers.

We then view the sales letter and discover the vendors contact information.

Next, you simply send them an email like this.....

Dear Name,

My name is Ben Pedersen and I have a product called "Catch Him Cheating" that I think would go over well with your customers and subscribers.

My product doesn't compete with yours but DOES serve the same market.

Here's a review copy for you... {LINK}

What I want to know is... would you be willing to send a solo-ad to your list on my behalf in exchange for a fee?

If this is something you'd be interested in. please let me know what your fee is, when you can mail and I will immediately send you the solo-ad swipe and PayPal you your fee.

Please feel free to reply with any questions.

Best,

Ben Pedersen
Then, write your solo and wait for the replies.

This WORKS and you can break down the door to any niche or market if you do this.

This gives me an idea, why not promote “infidelity” products to middle aged women on facebook ads? I'm sure many women are stalking their husbands profiles for ex girlfriends :p

This is awesome. I've always liked the idea of cross-promoting your stuff, but I only thought solo-ads were good for IM offers.

I have a product coming out and I've been trying to figure out ways to reach people in my target demographic in related niches. This should help with that.

Clever idea. How responsive have you found Clickbank vendors to be?

I've found some of them to be pretty responsive.

Of course, not ALL will respond and those that do, some may not end up in a deal.

That's why I said email 20 or so though. If you do, you should be able to get a few deals.

Sure, it's a bit of work to find them and email them but nobody else is doing this so it pays off in spades.

A side effect is that you'll get the attention of their competitors who will see them promoting your offer and you'll get more affiliates for YOUR offer. :-)

You can also use KeywordElite to find the partners you are looking fopr with both big and small lists. You can use Google, type in the see keyword and pick up the top 3 sites, if they do not have a contact form use whois to contact the buyer, and let him/her know what you have.

Great. xponentSYS your solo ad method will be the best to get target buyer traffic, not all the other
solo ads around the net where you get leads, but you make no sales.

What is the price cb vendors will have when I buy solo ads from them?
Is this only business for people who can spend minimum of $500, or for beginners to with litle capital who starts at $50, $75 ?

How much are you usually paying for these solo ads? (total and per click)
What do you feel is a fair price that is still profitable for you? (I know this depends on the niche, but in general)

    Thanks

This is a great little technique, but don't limit yourself to just ClickBank.

      Go to Google and search...

[niche] "we respect your email privacy"

That will return a bunch of Aweber list owners in any given niche.

And if you want to narrow it down to list owners who are (likely) selling an info-product in that niche (ie they have buyers lists), then you can search...

[niche] ebook "we respect your email privacy"

      OR...

[niche] guide "we respect your email privacy"
