How well do Youtube Ads convert?

Hey Warriors!

I was thinking about using Youtube ads for a few of my videos that link back to my website. I was wondering how well they convert into views...

It's completely depends upon what you are uploading but here a secret create some music video that doesn't have to be good quality graphics one. music spread lot faster then any other kind of video.

I am not sure that I fully understand what you are asking.

Do you mean YouTube Ads as in "adsense"? If so, then yes, they convert income wise, but how much income they will bring is dependent on you and how much traffic visits your channel.

As far as converting into "views" is concerned - adsense would not do that.

But...Very Important... if you plan on going the adsense route then your channel and video's must be squeaky clean. Do not use any content whatsoever e.g. graphics, video clips or music to which you do not have full and provable rights to.

You can upload your own video and then use YouTube's PPC platform to promote that video. There are people who are doing this all the time.

You can also do the opposite. Upload videos and keep your fingers crossed that they will be picked up by Google and shown on page 1 for the search terms. This is the free way to go with them and it works only if you consistently add new videos.

If you optimize long tail keywords with a Youtube video for top ranking at Google and promote proper products on the video, then its CR (convertion rate) should be between 1 - 10%.

You're meaning producing a video from scratch, just based in long tail keywords, to help target those as promotional prospects. I guess that works, but is probably more of a shotgun approach, vs specific strategic video production for a niche product which you are actively selling/marketing/distribution through your own site. But I guess if you had a general sales site - like electronics, you could use a more distributed approach for sure.

Mostly, I have seen that people just try to get videos from scratch and they modified them into their own way, famous stuffs are music or dance videos.
Be sure to add some of your own videos in it. And use long tail keywords and time to time shuffle them. I hope it will work.

YouTube has been good to me in terms of Adsense revenue over the years.
My videos get thousands of views.
It's important to upload videos of value.
