I know OptimizePress suggests Wishlist as one of the membership plugins they like, but are there any free membership scripts that are as good as Wishlist?

    Depends exactly on what you're after but S2Member has a free option that you can use.

    Thanks for the S2Member recommendation. I have been using Amember - and while it is a paid script, it has much more functionality and will protect WP sites. However, for those sites I do that I don't want to use Amember it looks like a decent alternative. THANKS

    Another vote for s2member here.

    Do yourself a solid and just get the unlimited license. A small search on google will also produce a nice little coupon code to significantly lower the price.

    Im not sure if a free script will give you the flexibility of Wishlist member. After years of trying to get away with free, I finally broke down and purchased Digital Access Pass. It works great, but not sure if it's a perfect solution either.

    Would love it if someone can outline the comparisons if S2Member, Wishlist and DAP
