Are there are good skype mastermind groups out there for paid ad guys or affiliate marketers?

    I don't know of any specific mastermind groups, but there are enough people in this forum that can give you all the advice you need. Then, build relationships with them and form your own mastermind.

    If you think that there's a market for this sort of thing, and I'm not saying that there is or isn't, then I'd encourage you to start one.

    The hardest part will be finding people who have the right attitude. Many people think that a MM group is a great idea until you ask them to commit to participating.

    There absolutely are skype groups but most of them (the decent ones anyway) are "invite only". The ones that aren't are ridiculous - I'm talking 100s and 100s of messages a day that are impossible to keep up with. Honestly your best bet is to form your own with a small group of 5-10 like-minded people who are at a similar or slightly higher "level" then you are.
