Articles on site or blog?

This might be a dumb question, but what are the advantages/disadvantages of having articles posted on your blog (say via blogspot) vs. on your website?

I've got some 90+ articles on my site that I've written over the years, and none of them really rank high in google.

I've been doing some work on my blog, and was thinking of moving my articles there. I'd keep the site's index page, products pages, and of course articles listing. But each link on the articles page, instead of going to another page on my site, would go to a blog post with the article posted.

    It depends on how higly ranked your site is, if your site is ranked high then post them on your site because the post will rank high also. But if your site is ranked low then use article sites to build up links and strengthen your site and the articles sites are powerful so the article will appear high on searches also.
