OK so I know this isn't the best place for MLM discussions but when I try to search about it on google everything is from like 2008/09 and out dated...

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good MLM forums that are active like this one?
#main internet marketing discussion forum #forums #good #mlm
  • scam.com on MLM section.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I personally wouldn't recommend scam.com though as they seem to fight and take sides a lot. At least that has been my experience.

    There is betternetworker.com

Also have you considered some of the fACEBOOK GROUPS FOR mlm?
  • Would not recommend scam.com as they really don't seem to be fans of network marketers.

I've been a part of mlm dot com for many years now.

    Manny
  • If I may make a recommendation, why do you want to do MLM? Those things are money suckers.

Only the very few and top percent of the "opportunities" profit any amount at all and even fewer profit as advertised. Stay away from pyramid schemes in general, or else you'll be selling your soul to your family trying to get them to buy your garbage.

Good memories from MLM though. I remember getting into a couple when I was 18. Quixtar religiously tried to get me to join because I was the only one in the room who thought it was stupid and I vaguely remember a couple of other opportunities that came and gone. Had a couple friends who got into MLM and they ended up moving back home.

Great companies to work for. If you want an example of soul sucking corporate companies who could care less if you were dead or not, MLM is the way to go. The one who truly profits off any MLM opportunity is the owner or the top Tier Pipe Line.

    • You clearly have no idea what you're talking about... lol

    • I agree, MLM schemes are usually only profitable if you're the owner of it. My friend made a very simple MLM scheme: they bought for $97/mo and then it taught people how to market online and get visitors to buy the same program which they got 50% lifetime commissions to.

Today it's a million dollar business. You might think it's unethical. But in reality, it's not (although it is really profitable ). It taught people legitimate business practices on how to market online and get your downline without having to go on facebook and recommend it to friends and family. He teaches stuff about PPC and video marketing if I recall correctly.

Anyway... to date it's a million dollar business and will rarely ever stop. See, people who got in and signed up say just 5-10 other people are still making a ton of money and will never unsubscribe (unless they downline unsubscribes and they start losing money). Even if it doesn't grow further (which it likely will), it will still remain profitable.

I actually love the MLM niche because I get to sell leads to them for about $2 each plus I market to these leads on my list myself so it's double the profit.

    • I work in MLM for the last 18 years and I can say you have no idea what you are talking about. I will not swap MLM for any thing else as I earn by helping others to earn and help them through every step. And, by the way I have people in my team who earn more than me. I earn more than some people in my upline. Every one gets fare pay for their time and efforts.
Your comment is an abuse to the great business that changed lives of millions. I can personally introduce you to hundreds of people who earning really well, but simply joining and not even being at the top as you say.
Next time better learn about it before commenting on the topic.
      Good Luck!

  • I was going to recommend mlm . com, but I see Coach Manny beat me to it. Manny is well respected in the forum and has a lot of good information.

Don't let Corey's ridiculous blanket statement turn you off of MLM. There are definitely some bad ones out there, but there are good ones also, just like every other business opportunity. You really need to investigate any business before you join.

I'll have to take a look at better networker that was recommended above.
    • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • I enjoy mlm. com and moneymakergroup. com
  • Jack Bastide has a Facebook group for network marketers.

  • I have been in mlm for over 22 years. I network for Amway, ITT telecom (they went bust and still owes me over $1,000. Newskin, the one with Dr.Mendell, I am having a brain fart on that one. can't remember the name of the company. I wanted to try the Trump network my wife wanted join Avon instead.

Avon is direct selling which we do. We have around 100 customers that we deliver to every two weeks. I place ads in the classifieds to get prospects and sell Avons high end perfume and facial creams & cleansers.

Avon is the only company that I have network for where we actually made profits from the first sell.

You can also check out magnetic sponsoring. I would give you my affiliate link but won't.

I'd done Herbalife in Russia in 1995 and here in USA ,Avon ,Mary Kay and the last was an Efusjon with marginal success . Efusjon was a best money maker for me I do not like to deal with the direct selling I like to build the downline and get an overlap $$$$$ in addition to a downline $$$$ Nowdays it's getting harder and harder to get the clean ,fresh leads . Would love to get any ideas how to recruit people faster on-line .

  • For MLM, there are 2 that I like:

    Betternetworker.com and work-at-home-forum.com

They have a lot of info on how to succeed in MLM.

I think that the Warrior Forum has better and bigger stuff about MLM. Maybe they should have a section for that here.
  • I find Betternetworker.com no longer that active as compared to what it used to be. Looks like people have already moved to a newer venue, maybe MLSP forum. If you are looking for a good, active, often-updated forum on MLM, better use Google to search for "country-specific MLM forums". Just like here in the Philippines, we have here a very active one, "Sulit forum at sulit.com.ph", which has an MLM sub-category.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Big Brother and write: mlm forum - hundreds of forums nad blogs.

I have been in mlm for over 3 years. I network for 7MW. It is in the Fitness Industry, it's creators Joel Therien and Chris Reid have put together an amazing system where you can make an unlimited income potential, help people get in the best shape of their lives, educate people to help prevent obesity and diabetes.

There is finally an MLM company that is offering an affordable product with big commissions.

As in LESS than 10 bucks a month and once you refer 6 people...you make $20....so you are ahead $10 right away.

They even have a 30 day money back guarantee on the dollar.

    Check out: here
  • I have heard rumors about a new mlm business that is going to change the game.

    • Sure... that's what every one of them says at some point in time... all you have to do is "get in a the top" and you'll magically make millions by the next day

  • lol. Don't let them get to you. Many Millions have been made in MlM and I'm the same way, I think scam when I hear it, but I still market it some especially with a new company.

Try facebook groups, and just so everyone knows some of the largest groups on facebook are mlm.

With the right keywords and the right niche, mlm can be a gold mine.

    • What is with the questions from people who never come back to the thread??? Warriors spend a lot of time responding and the OP just seems to disappear into thin air. (I've spent a lot of time answering some of these people's questions and it makes me wish I hadn't.)

For those who are interested in this thread, I second the idea about Facebook groups. I'm not in any MLM, but I keep loose tabs on the industry.

      Check out these groups:

      1. Better Networker (BetterNetworker.com)
      2. Smarter Networker (SmarterNetworkers.com)
      3. Dani Johnson (DaniJohnson.com)
      4. Michelle Pescosolido (OnlineWealthPartner.com)
      5. Bill Pescosolido (OnlineWealthPartner.com)
      6. Sarah Robbins (SarahRobbins.com and Sarah Robbins, Rockin Robbins Networking Team on Facebook)
      7. MLSP -- MyLeadSystemPro.com

Etc. Of course, there are a ton of "heavy hitters" in the MLM space, but these are the ones I like.

Like IM, MLM is male-dominated and I tend to gravitate toward the ladies more. All of the "crush it", "dominate the competition", etc. male language gets a bit ridiculous sometimes (and would sound completely inauthentic coming from me).

Facebook is good for finding pages and groups because as soon as you find one, they'll recommend 10 more. You'll have a huge list of relevant groups in no time.

      Happy hunting!

      Michelle

  • I've heard good things about Betternetworker.com and I'm also in a number of good Facebook groups.

You might also want to check out Empower Network, MLSP, Magnetic Sponsoring and some of the other programs geared towards helping network marketers grow their businesses.
  • Well since this is an MLM thread I have to ask some questions. I have been in Amway/Quixtar a couple of times and didn't do very well. I understand the concept and like a lot of things about MLM. What I didn't like was the way you were belittled and put down if you didn't come up with 2500 to go to rally weekend. My last sponsor lost about 40,000 before he finally quit. I know it can be good and their are some good companies out there.

I am more of an Internet type of operator. I don't want to go to rally weekends and spend money I don't have. I have been a member of SFI for a long time but never did anything with it. Never even heard from my sponsor. Anyone have any comments about SFI.

Also is there any other totally web based MLM, network marketing businesses out there I could check out?

I may have to go back and look at SFI. I am sure it has changed since then. This was many years ago. I had my kids hooked up to internet service through SFI. If I remember they had some outstanding IM training!

    Thanks
    Scott

    • I can tell you this. When I do MLM I do not come face to face with the person or individuals I'm dealing with, everything is done online via video or voice.

MLM is nothing more than Internet Marketing, sales, networking ect.

You have to first find a lead. So Network, it can even be done with a landing page or squeeze page. Then you have to make a repor with your lead, then you have to show enough benefits to your lead to get them to go in with you.

I have been in many sales positions. When selling I don't sell. I listen, I ask I give benefits then I ask for the signature. If they say no I'm fine with that, I always leave with a rebuttal or two but don't push too hard. I want a receptive mind, I don't want someone to sign up then say crap what did I do.

I want some one to sign up and email me ten times in the night wanting to learn where to start and there are plenty of eager people out there.
    • Facebook is a great starting point for web based, but why not start your own web based, simple blog, simple chat system, simple communications. I know some MLMers makeing good money just blogging.
    • Don't waste your time. On a list of the top 50 MLMs to get into, SFI is number 187 lol

Such list doesn't exist, but there are far better programs with far better products out there with far better compensation plans than SFI
  • Do you know why they want you to go to the Rally, because they make money from it.
Not only the cost but everything else also.
This is why MLM gets a bad rap, its from bad people doing it.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • O I get it. I never went could not afford it. Amway products were good, a little pricy but the idea in my mind was to be qualified at the lowest level you needed so many sales no problem. You were pushed to buy a couple of hundred in products a month yourself and buy motivational tapes and business building products all created by the way higher ups in your upline. You were to push the business and the rallys and business functions and get any new recruits buying 200 a month in products and the tapes books and business building materials.

What ever happened to just selling the products because they are good and getting others involved and teaching them to do the same. Those big groups in Amway/Quixtar make all their money on the motivational stuff. It is a whole other business within a business. Amway has nothing to do with it but they don't do anything to stop it. I am sure those crown ambassadors are kicking a chunk up stairs.

I have not had good experiences with MLM but am defiantly not turned off of it.

    • The pay plans have gotten much more generous than Amway. The fact that people have made money with that type of comp plan is a true testament to their determination and persistence. The newer 100% plans pay much more much faster. Don't misunderstand, it's still no cakewalk, just easier than it was. Most people don't chase friends and co-workers anymore, but some still do. The lines between internet marketing, affiliate marketing and network marketing have blurred somewhat. Personally I think that's a good thing. Why not take the best from each and throw out the worst?
