Adding Links to XML Sitemap but not on your site....?

Can you add links on your XML sitemap that are not on your site pages? I heard you can get a better SEO score by doing this without cramming your page up with links.

I did try this...but when I submitted my Sitemap to Google, Google said NOPE... lol.

Is there a way to do this without Google slapping you?

      So make like ghost pages but not have your index.html point to any of them?

          Great! So even though you won't have these outside links that could turn away a sale, Google crawls em on your sitemap? Can Google tell if these links are not on your page? Like a human eyeball Google employee from india? lol....
