METHOD: 20,000 hits/mo with Yahoo Answers!

Hey Warriors!

Heres a quick method Ive used with one of my websites to get 20,000 hits in a month from Yahoo Answers. KEEP IN MIND I was totally slacking on this method so you can actually get a lot more hits than that.



METHOD

1) Sign up for a Yahoo email account (Hopefully you already have one thats aged)

2) Find your way to Yahoo Answers: Yahoo! Answers - Home

3) Search up questions using one of your keywords

4) Answer questions honestly and leave your link in the source section

5) Follow steps 3 & 4 as many times Yahoo allows you (Between 20-40 times) a day for ATLEAST 3 days a week



*IMPORTANT* DONT TRY AND SPAM BECAUSE YOU WILL BE BANNED! ANSWER QUESTIONS THOROUGHLY NO HALF ASSING!

    That's incredible that you get that much traffic, any idea how old the people are? I always thought most were 13 or 14 years old.

      I know a lot of kids ask questions on weight loss but Yahoo answer questions rank in Google and get traffic from people who are searching for answers..

      So there's a potential to get traffic later from grownup :-)

          Well when you start a new account you automatically get 100 points. You must have 250 points to get to level 2.

          Lets do some math...

          250 - 100 = 150/2 = 75 Answers

            If I do 75 answers do all 75 that I put the link in then complete turn into links by the 76th one and on?

            after 75 answers about how many hits per day if I just left it at 75 answers?

      I dont understand your question but if you're referring to the link in the source section then Im not totally clear on that. I dont expect it to do anything for SEO but if you post a good enough answer people will copy the link and check out the site.

      I spend around 45 minutes to and hour leaving answers. A lot of questions are extremely easy to answer an Im also a pretty fast typer so its not an issue. Because its Targeted Im getting around 1,500 to 2,000 sales a mouth.

        Yeah the ban part is what I don't like but squidoo does that too and I am doing something on there again. I should go try this i've never done it because it seemed a little black hattish but you are not the first person to SAY this works I've not seen a lot of proof tho over the years.

            Thanks, but I'm not going to get banned. Back to the subject at hand, where and when is this screenshot from? Because it sure isn't from this year! It would have to be at least a year old, never mind the fact that it has been altered.

              Lol it amazes me that people feel that I would go out my way to go through alterations and answering everyones question just to lie about something Im not gonna benefit from...Im sharing a traffic source that has gotten me PLENTY of traffic...there are many other people in this very thread who have backed me on this yet you feel the need to jump on me lol I guess next your gonna want me to give you my username and password so you can see the stats yourself lol cool bro

Man, how long people have been on a forum doesn't mean shit, I've tried this method and while it hasn't got me 20,000 hits a month or 1500 sales it does work and I have seen decent results from it.     It's a pretty well known method, nonetheless, it's a good one.

    Although, if you want to put your website in the source, your website must NOT look spammy/unprofessional, otherwise no matter how professional your answer is, people flag you.

    Also, you must be Level 2 to be able to post clickable links.

    Do you answer questions related to your niche? Otherwise it's random traffic... I suppose random traffic is better than no traffic as that would increase your chances infinitely, but it sounds like a shot in the dark.

      Ofcourse...I suggest searching keyword related questions. Trust me theres plenty out there because Ive done answers on certain facebook apps and have gotten the same results.

    I did a search for real estate and found a question from 4 years ago that I couldnt answer. also I just answered about 8 maybe 10 questions and I was at 251 points, its possibly I answered a few a couple of years ago, either way I hope the links work now that would be great.

    Pretty solid method. I have some old Yahoo Answers where I make a few sales here and there.But they've gotten a lot stricter. Just a few days ago I hired someone on fiverr to post answers relative to my niche. Do you use one level 2 account or multiple accounts. And when you leave your link in the source box, do you use url shorteners or do you buy cheap domain names?

      I only use one level 2 account...I just post until I cant anymore....I buy domains...shorteners get taken down FAST!!

        I can see how that woiuld be true because thats whats going on on craiglist too. I once bought a report about craigslist that went obsolete almost the hour after I bought it trying to tell me that I could try A NEW SHORTNER they didn't know about. LOL LOL LOL

      I sort of agree with you...YA has been abused a lot throughout the years but due to Yahoos stricter rules its not as abused as it was. Im sure the traffic could convert a lot better compared to regular targeted traffic but it has the normal untargeted traffic conversions (1%-2%)

    How long until the traffic comes in? I did about 25 questions I would guess with my website in probably 24 of them. Been about 45 minutes, I know I shouldn't expect too much from that, just curious after maybe 2-3 days of 50-75 questions your thoughts

    I think it's not sort of spam or risky method. I'm on Yahoo for years, but I've never consider getting traffic from there. Yet, I only went in and see if some categories questions that I might be helpful. Therefore, I only answer with my real knowledge and experience that I could, so the answer is more precise, clear, and useful to the questioners; they rate it. Just only 50-60 answers but for years because I rarely use this, I could see some traffics roll into my random sites.

    To wrap up, don't try to spam it in order to gain traffic but with a good knowledgable answers, it'll lead you many treasure traffics that you won't believe.

        Seems highly improbable unless you have an unbelievable funnel going on. And did you mean "unique hits" or just hits?

        I got that you've said that it isn't your only traffic source, but you've made it sound like the majority of your traffic is from YA.

        You can't be sending them to a squeeze page, because at that ratio you couldn't afford to lose anybody at all, but assuming you are, you must have a sales page / auto-responder that converts at 30-40%.

        Do you have any sales stats to back this up? If what you're saying is true then you're sitting on one of the best converting funnels on the planet, and that's what this thread should be about!

    It is interesting to see everyone's replies to this "strategy". I think its brilliant, because as with most things that work well it is not over complicated.

    All you need to do is invest the time... If anything, I have found over the past few years that putting in the time on a regular basis yields positive results.

    Going for an automated tool that can do it for you or something like that will more often than not be a waste of time, waste of money and a risk for your online business.

    Some idiot reported all of them and got me suspended. Their TOS states that you can't use YA for self promotion (apparently even if you're contributing and putting in your site as a resource). This was within one day.

    How long have you had results with YA?

      Since December of 2011. There was a period where I just didn't used YA for a period of time (June-July) I tried a BLACKHAT method with YA and totally bombed! I also noticed that promoting money products almost always get taken down!

        I didn't try any blackhat methods. I was literally just being helpful and adding a link to my squeeze page in the source box. It was in the fitness niche so I was posting around with what I know. Several of my answers even got chosen as best answer. I never promoted anything either.

        I made a thread about it and learned that it happens to a lot of other people as well. I did get some responses on how to deal with it but they made the process so complicated that it didn't look like a worthwhile investment of my time seeing that at least in this niche, the user base is almost entirely dominated by confused 12-14 year olds with no money to spend.

          I seriously hate to point out my niches but since the niche is so big anyway Ill expose lol...Im using Realtionships & love related questions, automobile related questions, depression related questions, andconsumer electronic related niches......I seriously suspect that making money and weight loss niches have been the most abused niches so it probably will be extremely difficult to promote on...BUT once you find the correct formula you will have an EXTREME advantage

    i am on first page of yahoo and bing for some of my keywords. These keywords has more than 1000 exact match searches/mo on Google. (just US searches)

    But i get no more than 10 clicks a day from yahoo and bing together.

    how can you get that traffic from yahoo answers?

                My site is on natural home remedies. Not sure where you got the idea that I was banned - I wasn't. Just cautious about getting flagged for posting too many answers linking to my one site only.

                The relationship repair niche is pretty big in itself. I would say its up there with weight loss and MMO

    I posted about 25 answers yesterday and I got over 250 points and more and got actual links to my domain in the post. I just checked my email and this morning it looks like everyone of them got removed. These were real answers with 4-5 sentences, where most people have 1 setence. It looks like about every one got removed with real heart felt helpful answers instead of the good luck like most people type.

    bottom line is it could have been just 1 or 2 competitors deleting them for all I know.

    If it happened on 1 or 2 no big deal but it seemed to happen on almost every one.

    Motivation.
    Business.
    Finance.
    DerekandJoshTalk - YouTube

    Was that too much? do you do any cloaking with tinyurl or bitly?
    Should I only put websites? or is youtube stuff acceptable? :-)

    2. Download and install a free URL shortener program called Yourls
    3. Your in the game...

    If you have dual monitors open your link shortener on one screen and Yahoo Answers on another.

    Search questions in your area of expertise and begin answering with legitimate answers. Some people on this forum have a ton of posts which goes without saying they could generate a ton of traffic by diverting some of their posting energy to Yahoo Answers.

                  Well Ill throw you a few.....Squidoo articles help a great deal...I have about 50 of those (Not something I would put all of my faith into...play it safe), over 100 youtube videos (all unique),and forum posting do a lot for hits as well

    Just saw your yahoo answer and wonder if you bought the domain and redirect to the sales page of the product.

    Wow! Does that work. How come your link is not clickable or did you purposely made it not clickable.

    One more question. Did you ever receive any report of abuse before for this answer or other answers of your other sites?

      When they report you for abuse it is automatically taken down....Sometimes Murphy comes to visit me and one of my answers get removed but its no biggie...Yes I bought the domain and cloaked the affiliates link with stealth (SCORE!) Im not really sure why its not clickable but on this particular account I may not have answered enough on it

    Yeah this works... I answered two or three questions two years ago and I'm still getting around $20 a month from clickbank. Not much I know, but it could be scaled up.

    Well I could understand why yahoo would block someone that all of a sudden starts posting 10-20 answers in an hour all with the same link.

    I imagine some common sense would be required at the start. Such as not posting any link sometimes and other times posting links to websites that are not your own.

    One you gain a large reputation then posting links here and there shouldn't really be a problem.

    Just guessing of course but if they have a problem with self-advertising then it makes sense to take an extra 15 minutes to post answers that would never be seen as spam.

    u can Google Analytics to monitor your traffic.... If u don't know whats working or what worked you can't improve
