why are you in the "make money" niche?

I'm just curious why are most of the people here in the make money niche when there are soooooooo many niches and problems out there that have way more high quality customers that are less shady and don't know your marketing "tricks"...

What's your reason?

I know so much about internet marketing that i could create multiple products about it. Oh wait.... i've already created multiple products for it. For me, it's my extensive knowledge about the subject. But in another parallel universe.... you do raise a good question.

I'm not in that niche but it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. I mean look at this forum. People are sheep and will blindly follow anyone promising them riches. The level of critical thinking is incredibly low - probably because the wantaprenuers come from crappy education backgrounds and have crappier work experience. They're easy to make money from because of fear, cluelessness about real marketing, etc. And they are online, whereas, say, plumbers are not online.

This is a good question. Before I answer, I will also say that I worked in several other niches BEFORE I got into the "make money online" niche. When I first got online, everyone said avoid it until you get some experience under your belt, so that's what I did. The first niche I was in was the "learn Spanish" niche. I love languages and was a Spanish major in college, so it was perfect.

As for why I got into the "make money online" niche, it was for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted to be "in the know" and keep abreast of the latest trends, the various business models, and so on. It wasn't until later that I learned how profitable it was (and is). I also liked the fact that it was (and is) a busy niche. There's always something going on and new products coming out.

I would also like to mention that a great many marketers don't just work in one niche. They work in many markets. Not only does it help you to create multiple streams of income, but it keeps you from being bored. I'm one of those people that constantly needs to be intellectually challenged, or I become really, really bored. I am naturally inquisitive and like to learn.

    reason 1: that's one of the niches that I have knowledge about;
    reason 2: I'm passionate about it and love writing about it;
reason 3: it makes me money

For me it all started because I was once of those people who are trying to make money online. So, after getting scammed and spammed hundreds of times, I finally succeeded. So, I decided to share what I have learned with other people without all the hypes and BS.

I mostly want to tell people that it takes work to make money online, just like it does offline. It would ave a lot of time, money and heartache if people would understand that before getting their hopes too high, and believing in push button ways of making money online.

  • I'm not in the make money niche.

Making money niche is evergreen but it's too competitive. I think I'm going to go for the making money niche soon. I'm still learning IM and I want to share all my experiences in the future.

I'm in lots of niches, but the "make money online" niche is evergreen despite all the competition. Any new angle on it can yield amazing rewards. There's a reason it's so popular and remains popular.

Money rules the world.... Everyone wants to know how they can make money online. That's why we see DPL's as high as $10.00 per lead. Cause everyone wants to pull that check book out to figure how they can flip that money and get ahead in a bad economy.

Got tired of the 'I'm always broke' niche... ;o)

Seriously though, it was something I wanted to learn about because working a job is a loosing proposition as far as I'm concerned. Like others here have said, as you gain knowledge from your experiences, it feels good to help others avoid some of the mistakes you may have made.

    What's your reason?

because at the end of the day EVERYBODY wants to make more money then they currently are. everyone wants to be rich on some level. so why not fish where the fish are??

Because I have something to offer in this niche.

I have years of experience trading emini futures, a way to make money online. Not a get quick rich scheme as it takes time to master it and most never manage to do so well enough to make money consistently, but a viable way if you are dedicated and hardworking enough.

In other words, I sell my own expertise which happens to be in this niche. But if I were an expert at something else, I would be selling something else. Not necessarily having to do with making money online.

i have done niches before doing a making money niche. I have a make money site but am currently working on some video game sites.

i have the make money site because i like helping people. i have it there to show people the simplicity in making money online. yes, you still have to work, but many people don't need the "latest tools" "gizmos" "plans" etc. i may not get as many people without the whiz bang flash my site lacks, but i am sure there are some that will appreciate simple truth and help if wanted.

I'm not in the make money niche. I'm in the business building niche. Besides, most of us that are involved in the 'IM' niche are also involved in other niches.

Except, of course, the professional WSOers. They're in the make money niche.

Most people are in the make money online niche because it is the only niche where you can earn residual income and earn an income from the efforts of others. Plus, there is a big market for it now and years to come. It is very profitable for those who do things right and promote the right kinds of programs.

Yes, there are so many niches out there that if you knew what you were doing, you can make a ton of money. No question about that.

There are also a lot of people who are not in the make money online niche and are doing really well with their own product. Those who have their own product and have many affiliates promoting for them also can make a TON of money.

I'm not. I suspect that there are a lot of people here who are not. Newbies jump right into it without knowing the first thing about making money online, but a lot of experienced people are in many other niches.

Another vote for not in the "make money online" niche.

I actually think that you'd be surprised at the number of members here who are not. It probably just appears that way because this is an internet marketing forum, after all.

Because money making niches are likely to be very profitable, while others are too broad and saturated and will probably make you very little money.

For some people, they are in make money niche because they themselves make money online by teaching others how to make money online, some are passionate about it and they have one or two things to share, others they just want to make extra money from their ideas.

Depends on what category you under.

No. It's far from the only niche where this is possible.

One reason I like this niche because it's racey, Tina. It's a really buzzy vibe in this market - always changing, always turning upside down, lot of new things happening - so lots to learn. Just love it.

(Excuses for gadgets too! Just chosen my new 256GB SDDs this morning.... on a purely business justification, natch.)

Another reason is, satisfaction. So, many people are hurting in this niche and have been serially ripped.

So it's kinda nice to feel you are one of the people to come along and be genuine with folks, sensitively point out the errors of their ways and - to those to whom your message appeals and they take appropriate action - then to have the huge satisfaction of seeing them turn things around.

Now, that is really satisfying. We all love a bit of "redemption" - ask any film maker!
