FLIPPERS: Change Copyright Notice On Free WP Template?

hi,

I got a few free WP themes that I am intending to use for flipping. is it ok to remove the copyright notice at the bottom of the theme?

If not, does it hurt your sales if you leave it there?

    Don't remove the copyright dude. If your buyers found out you are selling them free themes without first-hand notification, you will lose A HELL LOT of credibility.

    I personally think using free themes won't hurt your sales if you are aiming to sell your sites cheaply. I started out by using free themes as well.
