List Building Subject Lines

Hey guys,

When I'm looking for opt-ins I offer a Free ebook within my niche. Do you think in the subject line I should Put the word FREE in it or No? Asking because I was curious if you put Free in it most of the subscribers will be people looking for freebies and not buyers.

Any suggestions?

    Not certain I understand the question, John, sorry ... the "subject line" of exactly what? "Subject-line" sounds like something belonging to an email, but you can't be sending them an email until after they've opted in? Hence my confusion ...

      When I'm doing ads for my listbuilding I was wondering if it's better to put in the subject line (Title)...

      Just Asking because I figured if you put FREE most subscribers will want freebies all the time instead of being potential buyers.

    With paying for ads I would say no to putting FREE in the headline.

    You really want to be careful on what you say. You are paying for ads, you do want the best results.

    I would start with saying exactly what you are giving them. You will have less freebie seekers and people will only click if that is what they are looking for.

    Try to get the best bang for your buck rather then getting as many people as you can to sign up. That is what free traffic sources are for.
