The report post button doesn't seem to be working

INTERNET MARKETING

I've tried about 8 times over the last half hour to report a post, and each time I get this error message.

LB you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

You may not have upgraded to a Full Warrior Member. Or, this may be a separate private forum.

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Anyone else have this problem, or know where we can report the problem?

LOL Worked fine for me too.... But they still have that dreaded, "you must wait 60 seconds to send another message" warning, so I only tagged him once...

I was asking Lloyd to, but it's good you other folks tried it. Two of those worked, and one didn't.

Theo... Did you actually send the report, or just test to see if the form came up?

Got another from Steve.

If Theo just pulled up the form and didn't submit the report, it's probably something transient with Lloyd's browser or system. Might be worth logging out and back in to see if that fixes the problem.

Not you. The Steve in question reported one of my posts, as a test.

If you're referring to the dipstick that was running around posting links to cracked commercial software here... Thanks. I can't imagine how anyone who's been a member here for more than 3 days can think we'd approve of that in this forum. But then, most of them are from countries where the perspective on intellectual property rights is very different from what most western countries embrace.

  Ah. Well, as far as I can tell, then, it worked for everyone who submitted the reports.
  
  Possibly a busted cookie or expired session on Lloyd's end.

  I've seen that message a few times - and when I went back the post in question was gone. I thought perhaps it displays if the post has already reached "max complaints" and is in the process of disappearing:p

  Paul, I hit this same problem randomly and have done so for months. Usually I just wait a bit and then it's fine. I've always figured it was just some sort of glitch with the forum.
  
  On the one occasion that I recall where it was persistent as in Lloyd's case, I closed the forum and then came back and it was working again.

  Kay... I can imagine it giving a different error when the post is gone, but vBulletin is usually pretty good about being clear with those.

Guilty as charged. It's not every day I get the chance to "report" a mod. Though I will admit to having copious amounts of coffee this morning. But hey, it's for a good cause.

Tina... I think this is the first time I've heard about anyone having this problem. Nice to know it's transient.

First time for me too. I've never seen this issue, but then again, there are some issues with this forum that I never get to see.

Here has always been my experience. Or at least it seems this way.

If I report a post and my report is the one that has reached the mystery "post nuked" number I get the "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link... Etc" message. If I have a post up in my browser and it has already been nuked, and I report it I go to the "you do not have permission" message.
