Make Money Blogging about my passion

Hello fellow Warriors,

I know there are bloggers out there who are earning good income blogging about things they're passionate about. Could anyone tell me where I can find out more about this opportunity?

Thank you in advance. Cheers

    howdy,

the formula is simple in nature hard to execute:

1 you buy a domain name,
2 you host it on a site using wordpress, or any other CMS
    3 sign up for adsense
4 sign up for a auto responder service
5 create a free over to get people to sign up for your email list.
    6 write content
    7 market it

repeat 6 and 7 over and over again. the reason I say its hard to execute because for newbies its hard to stay commented, its a very slow process. building up organic traffic especially without a budget. the biggest thing I can tell you is stay the course you wont start seeing really good results till at least for a year in.

    good luck my friend

You must know niche or topic which you love. You start blogging with the niche. And announce your blog to groups, forums, blogs and sites which related to your niche.

    Hi,

Let me tell you now how you can make money with blogging?

If you want to start your own blog, using wordpress.com,wodpress.org, blogger.com ,typed,tumblr.com etc. then you can make money by following ways:

CPC Ad Networks - Google’s Adsense program.

CPM Ad Networks - ContextWeb, AdClickMedia, Adbrite, Adify, BuzzLogic, and Casale Media

Affiliate Product Sales- Amazon’s Affiliate program, FlexOffers, Commission Junction, Shareasale, E-Junkie and LinkShare

    Direct Ad Sales

How to get traffic to your blog

    Guest posting

Sign up for blog community sites

    Submit to Blogcarnivals

    Join Directories - Yahoo Directory, BOTW.org, DMOZ.org, Blogged.com, JoeAnt.com, Greenstalk.com, Familyfriendlysites.com

    Blog Commenting

    Forum Commenting

    Linking to other blogs

    Create Squidoo pages

    Article submissions - ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, articledashboard.com, buzzle.com, articlecity.com

Google Analytics – which is a wonderful (and free) statistics tool that will help you keep track of your visitors and analyze a lot of data
about them. As I mentioned before it now integrates with Adsense to give even more valuable data.

Semiologic WP Theme – This is the theme I used to use for most of my WordPress sites. It costs about $300 for the full version, but I started with the free version, which I think is far more customizable than the vast majority of WP themes out there already. So if you are just starting out your probably don’t need the full version yet, but eventually it is probably worth considering. For what it has allowed me to do I know that it has paid for itself many times over.

Google webmaster tools – This will help you see how Google views your blog. They will also let you know if there are any problems with it that you may not be aware of. For me I had some issues that were really hurting my search rankings, but I found out about them and fixed them and voila! All better.

Aweber Email Marketing Service – I haven’t been using this too long, but if you read anything about internet marketing, you will certainly hear about the incredible value in having an email list. I have been happy with Aweber thus far.

Google’s Keyword Tool – This is a great tool to get ideas about popular keywords as well.

SEObook Keyword Tool – I use this to get a ballpark estimate of how many people are searching for particular key phrases.

SocialPoster – This tool allows you to submit articles to multiple social sites. I used to use it to submit to about the top 5-10 social sites.

Hittail.com – This one provides ideas for articles based on what you have previously written about and could probably rank for. I just noticed that the free version is gone. If you have a blog that is established it might be worth paying $10 a month for it – I suggest doing the free-trial and see how much it helps you.

Stock.xchng – The best free stock photography site I have found.

BigStock - The best cheap stock photography site I have found. They have lots of images that you can get for just about a buck.

Feedburner – If you have a blog, you will want to burn a feed. Feedburner makes this fun, organized, and easy…
A few more tools that may be worth checking out…

Scribe SEO Tool for WordPress – I wrote a more thorough review of this tool that the blogging tips subscribers received (you can sign up for free below if interested). But basically, I tried it out and decided not to continue to use it because I thought it was priced a little to high for what I got from it. It can make the SEO process a bit easier, but I just wasn’t sure about spending $27 on it. If they lower the price, I might recommend it a bit more.

How To Build A Successful Blog Business – I haven’t read this ebook yet, but some of the biggest names in the business have some great things to say about the book.
Frugal Theme for WordPress – This is another premium theme like Thesis and I haven’t tried it out yet, but it seems to be gaining popularity.

Yaro Starak’s (and Leslie’s) Become a Blogger Training Course – I haven’t tried this, but have heard good things about it. Yaro is an extremely successful internet marketer and I have learned a whole lot from him. If I were starting out today and could afford the program, I would do it.

It is possible to make money blogging about something you're passionate about. However, you multiply your chances of success if what you're passionate about overlaps with a legitimate need in the marketplace.

What do people want to read? Will your content entertain them, help them better their lives, or solve their problems? Adsense and other advertising options are great options as you're building your readership, but your focus should be on building an email list and packaging/monetizing your content for long-term success.

Best of luck. Let us know how it goes,

    Corey

I just recently finished a blogging course (and I'm already established) and the course was perfect for beginners OR advanced marketers - soup to nuts.

    Blogging With John Chow.

He taught me a ton of nuggets and it's one of my favorite IM courses ever.

You can google for top bloggers and visit their homepage. Most of them will be having a free eBook that will teach you how to blog. Some of them will also have a paid course priced no less than a few hundreds of dollars in which they will coach you step by step.

Setting up the blog is really the least of it.

What is more important is having your "Content Ducks" lined up

If you think you have great content others may want to read about you are ahead of the game. Search Uncle Google and you will find plenty of resources.

Start off by reading many of the free reports out there & when you are ready
maybe signup with one the guru's that make the big money.

    1. do some keyword research on the Google Keyword Tool & see if there are other people looking info about your interests. Remember to use the [exact] box on the left as broad will blow things out of proportion.

    2. If there's interest, search for affiliate products & cpa offers people might be interested in & find a few you like. Don't forget, some niches will be better off promoting physical products from places like amazon or ebay vs info products from places like clickbank & jvzoo.

    3. Then go on with the site building & traffic generation. You'll need to give away a free report, video series, audio or something of value in exchange for email addresses & eventually a large portion of your traffic will come from keeping in contact with your readers via email, facebook, twitter and possibly pinterest or linkedin..maybe both.

    4. Stay consistent. You can post 5 times a day or 1 a month, whatever you do...keep it flowing & have fun helping people learn more about your interested topic.

Running a blog means being consistent!
For that reason you need to be passionate about
a topic your blog is all about!
That passion gives you energy to develop your blog
and build a base of loyal followers!

People who are talking about consistency have hit the nail on the head. Many blogs won't make money as they quit before they've had a chance to succeed. With a blog you need to keep at it and understand your market (Best to look at what successful bloggers in your niche are doing).

At least you have found this forum which is the best place for information.

You'll find plenty of information here - just don't spend all your time on the forum as you will get nothing done!

You'd better start by finding out if you can make money with your 'passion'.

If not then you're flogging a dead horse. So pick another market or niche where there are prospects who are proven to spend money.
