Amazon & Link Cloaking?

Hi Warriors,

I was wondering if cloaking links for Amazon affiliates is ok? I have been using pretty link to cloak some of the products and the stats for click through seem to differ. Does Amazon dislike cloaked links?

I heard they didn't like it, but it would be best to check their TOS just to be safe...

I heard they didn't like direct linking with cloaked links from videos, social media.etc. I think just link from your blog is okay. But to be sure check their TOS :-)

  I'm don't think they dissalow it because shortened URLs do this naturally and to have a stance against masked link would eliminate the ability to use twitter and short url link tracking services.
  
  I just briefed over the TOS and could not find a section warning against 'special link' obfuscation. Will someone double check me?

Amazon do not allow you to cloak your links and neither do you need to. Amazon are a trusted vendor and people will happily click on an Amazon link.

  Proof please. The link to the associates terms of service is listed above. I briefed it and did not see anything mentioned to make this statement true. But I could have missed it as well. That's why I am asking for proof please.
