Where can i get Video content?

Hi Warriors, another newbie thread question. Must have made three threads already this month..Opps, it January not December.

Anyways, I'm trying to find a good video content for my fitness niche site. Basically, it's going to be workout videos demonstrating the right form when exercising. I realize, I can embed youtube videos, Go to fiver or look for WSO.

I have tried all these and the reason why I have not jumped into any

Youtube videos in my site would look very unprofessional. Despite it being legal, i just don't think it would increase credibility on my site if i just straight up take YouTube videos and embed them on my workout page.

I did a 30 minute search on WSO video offers on fitness, I stumbled upon what i thought would be good a deal, but surprisingly I'm not supposed to post them as website content and the Owners they don't seem to be active on this forum anymore

Fiverr looks good. But, i'm hesitating because i normally don't purchase anything without talking to the service provider first. It seems like in fiverr you click on their offer and it directs you to paypal after a quick and brief explanation about their services. I might go this route, but I'm not sure if it's safe.

Video production company is huge NO..NO. too expensive. Can't afford

Of course there is always the option of doing it with someone I know, but i want to check if there is any good online options first.

If you want quality videos then I'm afraid you have to pay pretty much $$$... If you don't have enough funds, but you still want something "quality", then forget fiverrr and do it yourself, get some help from friends and etc...

I would highly recommend that you create your own video. You can either film yourself or a friend from several angles doing a specific exercise or you can take a number of stills, put them together and create a powerpoint slide type video.

This is definitely something you should do yourself so you get the exercises and content you want. What you could do, if you like, is shoot video footage and then hand it over to someone else to edit - they can trim it, add text or voiceover, add nice intros and outros, everything to make it look professional and to "brand" it with your company name.

        THIS !
You create content by creating content. That's the rule.

I'm not sure what you look like, or what kind of physical shape you're in, but I would suggest hiring a personal trainer from the local gym. They usually charge $50-75/hour. They're going to be in shape, good looking (usually), and can perform the exercises you need CORRECTLY!

I bet you could film A LOT of different exercises in a one hour session and if you need more, just buy another hour from them.

I'm in a fairly good shape, but i play a lot of soccer and basketball. My body, is not the gym type, but yeah i will most likely try to get help from someone in the local gym.

Do you have any collages in your area?

Most collages have media departments. It reminds me of something i read recently

"...they'll do anything for a credits.." and just to clarify it the context was about delivering leaflets.

The media industry is very competitive these days and i'm sure you'd find someone willing to help you out to develop their portfolio.

I also think you should shoot it yourself. Just make sure you plan ahead and know beforehand exactly what you are going to shoot and how you are going to do it.
Hiring a camera guy with some proper lightning shouldn´t be too expensive, or if you want to do it yourself make sure you practice before and make sure you get good lightning for your video (good doesn´t mean it has to be expensive). You can even shoot outdoors to get great results but make sure you practice and know what you are doing before if you don´t have experience.
Editing is quite easy as well, again, if you are going to shoot a personal trainer, practice with somebody else, the editing too, so when you go shoot your final videos you know exactly what you want.

Video cost money unless you know someone who has half decent camera and someone good in front of it.

You would also need some reasonable video software to edit it, sometime you get some with the camera.

As for playing them in your site, if you use WordPress you can use a free plugin that will work and then won't have the YouTube frame around it.

    Here's an option...

Go to your local gym and speak to the owner/manager. Tell them you will shoot and market fitness videos that promote their local gym for free. In exchange you get any/all online earnings.

Then, promote the videos on Youtube using local and general video SEO. You get any Adsense and affiliate earnings, while you also promo their local gym for free.

If needed, make sure you use some leverage such as telling 2-3 gyms you're also talking to their competitors, offering the same deal.

Promoting them is actually pretty easy. Make a custom intro and outro with their name, location, contact info, etc., then use the same intros and outros on all your videos.

Try not to use faces, as you can get into some legal issues such as model releases.

This is actually a good idea. However, if you don't mind shelling out a few bucks, you can ask the gym trainer to do specific exercise videos for you demonstrating how to do an exercise properly. You might pay them fifty bucks or something for one video lasting a few minutes. You will have complete rights over the video.

There are tons and tons of Great video producers on Fiverr. What do you mean you can't talk to them first? Send them a message and tell them exactly what you are after.

Most of your Level 2 and Top rated sellers just have the $5 gig as an intro and if you want more serious work done you pay X gigs for X minutes. If you don't like the result, you can reject the order......... it's as simple as that. Just communicate with the sellers, and you're bound to get a great video for a great price.

    Cheers.

in Fiverr you do can message the seller, do some conversation before submitting your work (when you pay, your order isn't counted as processed yet, before you submitting your data - responding the seller - for the gigs owner.

its better for you to hire local gym trainer.

I go to video blocks. They have a lot of content that you can use to create your own mini movies. Also, they not only have video, but in addition some background music. This gives some polish to your new movies. It makes them stand out and look a lot more pro. Hope this tip can help you.
