Just hit page 1 for a keyword with 368,000 exact match searches, an extremely competitive keyword (keyword "TSX", our website www.TSX-Today.com, #9 in our target google.ca and #12 in google.com).

What do you think is the best way to monetize this success?

Thank you

If it's stock exchange I would put up either forex CPA ads or maybe some sort of affiliate program to do with online stock trading. Even Adsense here would do well with such a competitive field.

Also think about your age group investing. Probably older people so maybe life insurance or other investing opportunities might be possible.

Thank you. Where do you think is the best source of Forex CPA offers?

Both ClickBank and CJ.com have course / training products which related to stock exchange - you can search it then promote it on your website.

Thank you. One issue that I have with that is that I would be sending my customers away. Is there a way I can get to have their contact info as well while promoting affiliate offers?

Best way to monetize it is to flip it immediately before you lose your rankings.

I would create some great helpful posts to put on the site and link out to different stock related affiliate offers, do some really great informative articles using a pre-selling strategy and that should start to generate some sales for you, just don't over do it.

I think you should build a list of email subscribers with that sort of traffic.

Adsense, TextLinkAds and chickita are great monetization options. You could also develop your own product or get CPA offers.

You need to think long-term. Start collecting emails from your visitors.

I never try it but as I've heard, etoro is good CPA to start. There are also Forex Clickbank Products if you are interested. Congratz

How many daily visitors are you getting? It all depends on this.

  • One thing I would do was make a list and continue to sell them my products or affiliate offers.

Check out the website Investopedia and try to get similar ads on your website. They have been a great resource for many investors for a long time so I'm sure they have figured out their targeted ads a long time ago.

Good idea. Thank you. incidentally I am looking for a monetization JV if anyone is interested.
PS: Still top 10, albeit top of second page because of how google formats the results for this search.

Sorry man, but I don't see you ranked as #12 on google.com.

When I search for "TSX", I find you ranked #1 ...

... on the 15th page of results. :p

On Google.ca, I don't even see your site as a result in the first 25 pages of results when I search for "TSX".

I don't think you're ranking as well as you think you are.

mojojuju is correct. You don't seem to be ranking as well as you thought.

You are probably getting personalised results returned by Google. Try signing out of your Google account, and connecting to google through a proxy.

I would make the adsense background colour match the background colour where it is placed so it doesn't look like its sticking out. It may improve CTR slightly and make appearance tidier.

As for monetizing, adsense should be good in this niche with very good earnings per click, but you could also run maybe a Clickbank product or, even better, a real affiliate product i.e. trading software of some kind that might appeal to your audience.

By the way, I see your site on the third page for that term, not the first.

Usually clickbank is the best mostly because of the variety of affiliate programs you can choose from but also keep in mind that this is search engine traffic which converts more the most other traffic sources. That means that even though clickbank products don't have high conversions you will because your traffic will be laser targeted towards your keyword.

It doesn't really matter how many exact match keyword searches you are on the front page for. How many of those searches actually land on your site? That will help determine how you should monetize it.

Congrats.. I'll trade you for my site and if you get that to #1 for 368,000 exacts, you can sell your strategies and SEO services with PROOF! Great job man!

    I see it at #13 on google.com.

You can follow the flipping advice above or...

Collect as many emails as you can and monetize the products already mentioned. Then if things go underwater you have a nice list you can market to.

That said, your site looks good, I don't think Google would intend on tanking this one.

      Hi Jason,
Our main target is Google.ca where 80% of the traffic is. We move up and down, from #2 to #8/#10 and sometimes #100+. Happens in SEO. The site is less than a year old still. This is a very BIG keyword in our niche.

Are you making any money online? In that market you could probably sell that site for several thousand bucks... But that is not long term optimal.

take you list and start making money from the list.
