Brick-and-Mortar Businesses, Google, Yahoo! Answers, Social Bookmarking, Blogging, etc. Dead? Wrong.
I just read an article about Carlos Slim's (currently the world's richest man) quotes here Why Carlos Slim Is The Richest Man In The World | Addicted 2 Success
One of his quotes is just so powerful:
"I think one of the big errors people are making right now is thinking that old-style businesses will be obsolete, when actually they will be an important part of this new civilization. Some retail groups are introducing e-commerce and think that the "bricks" are no longer useful. But they will continue to be important." - Carlos Slim
Think about it. How many times have you read other people's comments about how YouTube marketing, forum marketing, etc. are dead and facebook is the new gold mine?
When the online business world boomed, a lot of people said the old brick-and-mortar businesses are crumbling.
That's a load of crap!
Everything will be part of a new system. As time goes on and on, more and more marketing methods and platforms will arrive. But that doesn't mean that the old methods don't work anymore... NO!
That just means that there will be more opportunities for people to reach their customers and achieve their goals.
Everyone will get their own slice of the internet marketing pie because the pie is just getting bigger and bigger... CONSTANTLY.
Cheers,
Alfonso
