This sales video made me laugh

Pfft... if he was so rich he could afford having a servant who lifted him up on a chair like a king and carried him all the way to his limo.

This is almost exactly the same video I saw a few months ago with the name "Paul Ponna" on it. He's a guy who I bought a system from once and found it to be a waste of money and cancelled it but not without having to push him for my refund.

So a few months ago I saw another video again and it was even FUNNIER than this one! BUT it had almost exactly the same script:
A guy gets out of a fancy car (instead of a helicopter), picks up 3 losers on the beach (instead of off the street) and shows how they can make money very easily and quickly with just a few minutes of time (NO real work, of course! The real gurus in this business never do ANY work, the money just falls from Heaven into their bank accounts! (yea right))

So yeah, these videos are funny.
But it's sad that many people fall for them and get sucked in. While it may only cost you $9 to get in, once you're in all they do is hit you up for more $ for ways to make money even better and quicker of course, and if you're not sharp enough to know you're being scammed (and hey, we've all been there once or twice in our lives with some kind of offer that is "too good to be true"!), then next thing you know you've got hundreds of dollars wrapped up in something that is a total waste of $.

The ending part with the 3 other actors is where it gets the funniest.

and the helicopter seemed to have took off, and returned back to the same airfield LOL

The worst sales vid I've ever seen was a blonde female in some penthouse reading from a teleprompter, gawd it was cringe worthy

I don't think anyone is slating the format of a sales video.

They are slating the format of a terrible sales video.

...and actors, helicopters and limos certainly aren't a mandatory staple of one.

Judging the product on face value is all people have because the vendor gives nothing else.

The problem is that the sales video should explain some of the content, or outline of the system they're trying to sell. What I got from this sales video was "dude buy it and you'll become a millionaire so you can afford helicopters, limos and starbucks". What I want to get out of it is an outline of the system -- not explaining the meat or juice, but the fundamentals of what they're going to be teaching. IMO Frank Kern does a great job with those using his massive whiteboard. I love the way Frank Kern sells.

The only reason many powerpoint presentations are boring is because they're explaining a "loophole" that doesn't exist -- and again coming the the same thesis that "you're gonna become a millionaire overnight". The powerpoint presentations that outline their system and explain the fundamentals of what they're selling to you are indeed not boring and I think you get much more out of it.

Look at legitimate products such as Evergreen Business System. It explains EXACTLY how you can use it to make money. It doesn't just give you some fact that somehow you can make a million dollars -- it tells you HOW you can become rich from doing it. It doesn't just tell you that you're magically going to become rich.

Take a look at traditional products. Even those ads on TV that run only 15-30 seconds long. They do a GREAT job of demonstrating the product and how it works. Like the snuggle thing, they don't just tell you "it'll make you warm and comfortable", they show it in action including how to put it on, and some 'sciency' facts behind how it works and why it'll make you comfortable (this is a bad example but I think you get the point).

Yea but here is the thing. This guy was pretending like it was real. For example he was trying to get people to think that that guy from star bucks was a real 'student' and not an actor. He was trying to mislead people about his wealth etc. A sales video is fine, actors are fine, but when you deliberately try to miss lead people you loose all creditability and trust. Thats not fine.

Also even his copy sux. Notice how he talks about the 'students' in the past tense to start with. How they 'went' from .. etc. But then he shows it has if they were just starting with him. Notice how at one point he says he works 5 hours a day, then he says he works 5 hours a week. There are lots of screw ups.

Seeing the product creator in a video is quite common. I've already watched about 5 videos today and I believe each featured the creator.

As I edited my previous post to mention, actors certainly aren't to be considered as a staple of a sales video.


A sales video can still be made informative yet remain blind.

Sometimes it takes nothing more than a creator introducing themselves and telling their story.

The sales page / video needs to function as an effective standalone.

If it doesn't then money is "left on the table" as the saying goes.

Not everyone will use initiative and venture forth to seek out reviews of the product so the entire presentation needs to be structured with that in mind.

Having watched it again, it reminds me of the type of presentations that were rife in the 80's, played to office employees on so called "training days".

Only 4, you were let off light.

Exit pop-ups were pretty strange to. Video said everything was free.
First pop up said he would give me $30 (meant $30 off)
Next pop-up said I could have it for one time $1 payment
Next pop-up said I cold have it for one time $9 payment????????????
Next Pop-said it was free
Next Pop-up started a new sales video at which point I slashed my wrists

Really bad and unrealistic acting. Usually such presentations catch attention but this is exception.

And again...

I am so tired that people are making money teaching others how to make money. I understand that this is profitable business, but I'm tired of all this faken videos, presentations, actors and silly products.

Who is able to make money he is making money. Who is disable he is teaching.

I thought the movie was pretty good. For anyone who didn't see it, here is the spoiler >

It's a documentary about a nasal-pitched alien dude that abducts 3 dim-witted humans into his rented, 1980's looking, 4 wheeled spaceship. He then tricks them into getting into an earth vessel helicopter where they tour the airport, and transfer to yet another 4 wheeled spaceship.

After this crazy travel adventure, the alien dude entraps them into his earth based home where we discover he eats too much cheese and covered his alien existence by working at Starbucks.

Through advanced technology, the alien dude was able to discover an incredible thing called the "internet" and a website called "clickbank". He then directs the 3 numbskulls into creating outrageous wealth within 25 minutes.

Eventually, the 3 dimwits replicate themselves to the point where the "internet" becomes full of spam creating, link generating, article marketing zombies that are all controlled by the alien dude who takes a cut off the top. Sadly, the zombies kill themselves off because there is not enough food to go around, and the alien dude is seen in the final scene of the movie eating at his kitchen table with a shark-like smile.
