How to build list?

you'll need a great give away offer something that truly helps solve a problem, a great squeeze page, there are a ton of softwares out there to create great webpages easily, I use optimize press.

Then once you have that start researching and testing out different traffic strategies, both free and paid, there are countless different traffic strategies, don't rely on just one many.

Of course this is in a nutshell, there is much more to it and can't really all be explained in a forum thread. but that's the gist of it

You are a Warroom member. Lee Murray has a great list building course in there called, "The White Hot List", and I believe there are at least several others as well. You paid to get in there; instead of asking for random answers here, why not avail yourself of the information you already paid for?

You won't have to sift through all the guesses and arguments to get to the gems, and people aren't going to give you nearly as complete of answers in a thread as you get in Lee's excellent course.

PS: I forgot, the only thing I would caution you about with Lee's course is his rant against the idea of using SEO to get traffic. For SEO traffic getting, I recommend joining "Bring The Fresh", by Mike Long and Kelly Felix; they have a much better understanding and approach to it than all the people who knock it just because they're tired of getting slapped; lots of people are making millions with it, and not working nearly as hard doing so as the naysayers claim. Others getting slapped is good news for those who do it right, and these guys know how to do it right, and it isn't that complicated.

Have something your target market would give up their personal information for in return. Once you have that a lot of the battle is over.

After that, it is just a matter of getting your business message out to your market and in front of as many eyeballs as possible and having the software to deliver the content/product to them.

Learn wordpress and learn how to put up a squeeze page. Then get some good content you can "squeeze" people with and then find traffic (solos, forum signatures, other paid and other free sources!)

think about what you're good at and then create a helpful in depth guide/report/video series around that information and give it away to build your list

forget plr and all that rubbish, create your own unique course/report, you will get a far better response and people will appreciate it way more

Offer top ten tips as a free gift in your niche. After 30 active users send them a survey asking 10 questions. Their name, where they live, age, income, what scares them the most in your niche, what do they know in your niche and so on.

This will give you an idea on what your free product should be. What age group your looking for. The income you should aim for. Most importantly, what product you will be offering to them.

There is no better way to find out what your niche wants other then to ask them. Once you have this information you need to utilize it. If you have a good squeeze page, people will be signing up left and right.

Why will this work? Because you asked them what they wanted and now you are giving them what they asked for. All you have to do is find those kind of people (targeted traffic).

First step is you need a squeeze page.
You can look it up, but basically it is a simple page with a form asking for email (and name if you want) in exchange for a relevant gift, relevant to the theme of your list.
And then send trafic to it.
But first you need that squeeze page working, so that's your first step before anything else, do it and then you can look for more.

The first thing that you want to have is a squeeze page that can convert well for you. I don't care what niche you are in. You can always have a powerful page and a call to action.

Never disclose what the product is all about on that page. You want to do everything in your power to get people to opt in so that you can follow up with them.

Here's another tip: Never hard sell anyone on your products. Give them some free value in each email.

Optimizepress has some great squeeze page options based on wordpress.

I personally use Kajabi a lot for squeezes but it's a tad more expensive.

davidandersonwealth dot com is a good place to start.
I check it out most days and he also has a good blog with lots of articles updated each day.
You can also google list building and see what comes up.

There are two main methods with my knowledge.
First, you can create a well converting squeeze page and then make traffic for your website, such as social media, forum, blog etc.
Second, there are many softwares in market. You can search one to help to collect email addresses on google according to your key words. If you use them to email marketing, you'd better insert sub/unsub link in your mail content.Then you can build your targeted email list.

Split test your squeeze page like crazy. Then provide killer emails. That's how the big guys do it.

You did the most important thing already, and that is willing to take actions.

There are many ways indeed. One way is to go viral with FB photo contest. The down side is that it may not be sustainable. The way I do it is to constantly maintain several of my blogs with high quality content, along with a newsletter opt-in form.

I'll be honest, it's easier to build a list than it is to keep everyone on it. You might want to focus on finding strategies aimed at list member retention.

To be candid, you cannot know all what it takes to build huge list from a single post. I would advice you to go out there and look for list building course, purchase it and make sure you take action on what you learn because that is the only way you learn better. Not all markets are created equal. Different niches need to be treated differently.

I recommend using solo ads. They're are tons of places you can them. You'll get traffic pretty fast to your squeeze page. Just make sure you have a good offer to give to the people who subscribe. Look here on the warrior forum for solo sellers in your niche.

Once you've gotten your squeeze page and autoresponder set up, make sure to maintain a relationship with your list by answering their emails and questions.

The money's not in the list, but in the relationship with the list.

You will need the following:

1. Some PDF report (5-20 pages) you want to give to new subscribers (you can pay someone to write this)
2. Good looking squeeze page
3. Autoresponder and Web Hosting

I know of a bloodhound model that works just by blogging. Write like 100 articles on a particular niche and blog about it. Not tried it myself but something simple enough for a newbie not be be threatened by so many IM stuff out there. Have fun!

You need to drive traffic to your site and have a "bait" there to get them to sign in. It can be anything from a podcast to a PDF, Ebook! You name it! You then need to keep on building the flow of traffic! Many different options there- articles, videos, podcasts, social media, forum commenting, guest blogging, blog commenting!

I personally post everything on my blog then post the same article somewhere else (Eza). I do blog and forum commenting as well!

You can do press releases too! Oh, God, there are so many ways of driving traffic! I think it's the easy part then when you have your subscribers you do need to keep them updated but not overload them or blatantly sell them stuff either!

I'd advise you to focus on two or three methods first and see how it goes! Test, test and re-test! And good luck!
