Is it possible to hire people to build your list for you?

I have a rough draft of a fitness email set but I don't have the time to sit down and recruit people to a list to read it.

Does anyone know if it's theoretically possible to hire someone to just recruit to it. Not as an affiliate, where you put the product up on an affiliate site and *hope* someone will sign up to promote it, but to actually go out and hire someone to build a list for it?

    I saw such services in WF a while ago., apparently dies off after a while.
    Come on, the money is in the list.. No one is going to build the list for you.
    What you need is responsive list.. You won't know your list demographic by engaging people to build the list for you. The list could be from anywhere, adfly...

    You can train VAs to do whatever tasks you want them to do. Create videos, comment on blogs and forums, write articles, engage people on social networks... Each task should result in traffic to a squeeze page and that's how you can build a list by leveraging other people's work and time.

          Building a list usually requires making squeeze pages and content that converts visitors to leads. You should start the content by yourself, then outsource people to make it better. Drive traffic to it and do some A/B testing. You can outsource all of that, just make sure to supervise it right.

    Is internet marketing a business?
    If you were the CEO of Google would you do all the web page design yourself, build your own Facebook page, send tweets, build lists etc etc

    One of my favourite marketers Jim Cockrum says "People with skills work for people with ideas"

    Apart from the odd one man band most people I know with very profitable businesses employ people or outsource to freelancers.

    Its amazing how many internet marketers don't think of this business as a business.

      Would agree with the previous posters that a sales funnel and solo ads would be a good fast option to meet your requirements.

    I imagine it is, simply because these days so many people are trying to earn a living online by offering services of various kinds that it's theoretically possible to outsource almost anything, and at competitive prices, in a global economy.

    Given the important of the relationship-building aspects of list-building, whether it's advisable to do so, in the long run, is perhaps an entirely different matter. With "the quality of the relationship" (i.e. rather than list-size) being the ultimate income-determining factor, it's something I'd stay away from, myself.

    No quick fixes work very well - been there, seen it, done it.

    I think the best way to do it if you're really strapped for time is to hire some VA's. You can find a lot of talented, trainable people on online job sites.

    Personally though, I would say the best road to choose is to build it yourself because you need to develop relationships with your customers. Although you can train people to do that, no one knows your product better than you, nor can they sell it like you can.

    I suppose you're thinking about finding someone to drive traffic to your site!
    It is possible, because there are people to hire on various outsourcing sites.
    You need to create simple site which main purpose is to grab name and email address!
    Then you can hire someone to drive traffic to that site!

    You can build list by displaying your banner on other popular sites, but it is paid method...

    You have to be creative for building a list.

    Apart from building a list, there are many methods which can be used to make money online, it depends on your skills.

      There are plenty of virtual assistants who can do this job. Hire somebody who has experience of driving traffic to your optin page. There are plenty of sites like odesk or easyoutsource who will help build your list for a couple of bucks per hour. That's an investment you easily recover if you know how to handle the list and build a relationship with it.

    I don't see any problem with getting people to get eyes on your squeeze page and signing up to your list but I'd recommend you write the emails and interact with them. Makes more sense for you to build the relationship than an outsourcer.

    It would be possible but you have to be prepared to build a relationship with that list and if someone else is building your list do they think the same way as you do? Would they treat the list correctly?
    In my opinion it is better to build your own list.

      That could work too but I think it would get quite expensive to pay a pro to write everyone of your emails and it would lack the personal touch and be lacking in your passion and knowledge I would *think* but then I've never paid anyone to write an email for me so I'm not too clued up on it.

        A pro would make it even more personal. It's their job to.

        The best pros listen to who you are to your list and make you a character. A hero to root for.

        When your list likes you, respects you and listens to you they spend money because of your words.

    You can hire people to build your list for you, although this may end up costing you more money and even time than you'd expect. By far the fastest and most hassle-free way to acquire these lists is simply buying them. Naturally, when you do set out to purchase your lists, you'll want to buy from a legit organization. Make sure the list broker(s) you work with are not dealing junk leads to you.

    Yes. It's possible. Many people have the skills to build up a list but could always use extra income. In fact, some people already have lists and can use their lists as a starting base for building a custom list for you. You have to give them the budget to set up sites though.
