Can I ask you what the perks are for the card?

I'm assuming UK residents are exempt?

I haven't received any notifications and I've just had it brought to my attention.

Are these just branded debit cards or does each carry incentives with the associated companies?

          They are branded Payoneer cards.

Ordering through that partner means that pricing and fees are different and unique to that partner. Additionally, any promotions that partner is running will be available to you.

Well, they say that the card comes with a PIN that you will use to withdraw money using a service that Payoneer has developed. This card seems to be very cool indeed.

    Hi David,

    Nice to have you here.

    1. Is there a separate ID/Pin mailer that come after I receive my card mail?
    2. What are the fees associated with withdrawal?

    .
Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

They should have bought ASSETS instead.

      Hi,

      Nice to be here.

After you order the card you receive a Payoneer ID and when you receive the card to during the activation process you create your PIN.

To view pricing information before you order the card, please use the Payment Method link on the partner website and to access the Payoneer card registration page.

On the landing page you have will have access to Pricing & Fees pages without having to actually order a card.

If you have already ordered the card you can log in to your "My Account" page under "General Information" you can choose the "Pricing and Fees" tab.

Would this payoneer card be good to accept payments from other sources as well? Or is it only good for this specific partner?

Payoneer card doesn't work like normal credit card in all the countries and charges are also applied so be sure to use your card to only authorized ATMs.

I was going to use it but then I read about the costs for using it and I think I went to my bed crying for the whole day...

Besides all that, it is too costly for me. Read what it costs for you to use it when paying and using ATM-machines. If it costs too much than what you make each month through Fiverr, don't use it obviously! ;-P

It seems convenient but what are the fees? Do users get a statement so we can log the total fees as a business expense? For accounting purposes, I like the unified reporting. However, if the fees are too high, that might be a problem. Also, what forex rate do they use?

    personally I wouldn't opt-in for that card.

as if Fiverr and Paypal aren't skimming enough off your efforts already. Now they want to let MasterCard/Choice Bank take a cut of your income.

The cost of the fees with the Fiverr card have been reduced. There are no maintenance fees if you make 1 transaction per month.

They are also currently offering free activation for anyone who applies in January.

reduced from what? (clever wording on your part). The link and quote I provided above shows the current rates.

There are loading fees. So, each time a person wants to transfer money from their fiverr account to your prepaid card they pay $5 if they wanted the funds loaded within two hours, and $1 if they want the funds loaded to the card within two days. that is for each load.

On top of that, the user has to pay an outrageous withdraw fee of 3.15 each time, and even $1 to check the balance at the ATM. That withdrawal fee would be on top of the fee charged by any bank ATM the customer decides to use that the card is not issued from.

Also, "When a transaction is made as a foreign transaction or is requested in a currency other than USD, charges of up to 3% may be assessed above all charges assessed by MasterCard for the transaction."

I can see why you are trying to word it the way you did "reduced fees". but the fees are still there.

After all, the skimming is revenue for your company. Nothing you said is different than the fee chart I posted.

and if the person decided to get your card to have on hand, just in case they wanted to use it. they would be charged $36 per year for the non used pre-paid card.

They are reduced from the original fees when Fiverr Card was launched. Additionally, there is a $1 load fee and currency conversion charges involved with PayPal as well.

That's not to say that one solution is always better than the other. It's certainly possible that in your specific location PayPal is better, however the paypal service is not supported in many countries and the Prepaid Debit Card offers additional benefits to many Fiverr members

If in a country that uses paypal, a much better option is to just xfer your funds to your paypal account then use their debit card. Or use your paypal balance to pay for purchases online. You can also transfer the funds to your linked bank

all that for no additional fees, that a payoneer card would be charging you

I don't know about you, but I find that given the amount of fees, it's not worth having one. I'd rather keep using my paypal Debit card instead.

You can use the card online, to make purchases with any merchant that accepts debit MasterCard cards. On the back signature panel of your card, the last 3 digits listed are your CVV. They should be there

I have just got and utilized my card. Then I nearly fell out my very sturdy chair after I read the fees. It's a good service for non-US - otherwise, I think I'll just transfer to paypal.

$3.15 for cash is ridiculous. "Loading" fees, although low, is uncessary. This is a very clever way that mastercard and visa can put more fees on those merchant statements.

I have about 3 payoneer cards, 2 from odesk and 1 from Infolinks.

I live in Bangladesh with NO PAYPAL And no e-payment gateway. So payoneer card came just in time to save me.

It's a debit card and has online balance. I have used it on paypal, other merchants, 2checkout and many other online services to pay and receive money. It also offers an US payment (bank account) this helped me to accept money through ACH.

What can I say more, payoneer card changed my life and the way I do business online. If you are working on fiverr then the costs maybe too high for you, but for me it is reasonable. Also since I have this card from odesk, I can use it on fiverr too, no need to order another one.

I too am interested in getting the Payoneer card. And I would like to see other comments from anyone who actually has the card here (preferably from the U.S.)

I also wanted to comment on a few points that have been brought up here and elsewhere online, in regards to Payoneer. The 1st one, starts with:

    1. Paypal is not an option for everyone - so, there is a need for an reasonable alternative. I find it interesting that there are these comments all around the web, on why folks don't just 'use Paypal'; as if it's choice to everyone. Not to mention the fact that Paypal treats a lot of business owners terribly, with their business practices.

    2. Payoneer's fees - I too have to admit that they are not the most ideal. But, I recall reading somewhere, that the company tries at least to price their services competitively. How much so, I'm not sure. - Maybe so one who reads this, has a link to a site that has a comparison chart of the most popular payment processors and their pros & cons.

    3. Infolink users who have the Payoneer card - Actually, in general, I'd like to know from anyone how to even make using Infolink worth the effort of having it set-up on one's site? I mean, they pay out so low.

    4. Gig sites like Fiverr - I'd like to know from you freelancers out there, how bidding for a job, is worth your time & effort. Especially considering how low you're getting paid for your work. Unless I missing something here, I don't see how someone can make a decent living with sites like these (Odesk, Freelance.com, Guru.com, etc.).

So, again, I really can use some feedback here, I'd appreciate the help.
