Autoresponder product emails

Hey,

I was wondering how often I should switch out my product offers if they're not converting? In other words, how many times should IO let it go through the cycle before replacing it?

Thanks,

Sean

If you check the stats of all of your individual emails, fix the ones that convert the lowest by comparing it to the ones that convert the highest.

      Good question.

You should always run a split-test. So two products every time. That way you find the best one.

If you're failing to convert there are two possible problems:

      1, The product.

      2, Your autoresponder emails.

The way you can fix 'em both is through split-testing.

(Unless you pay someone like me to write you crazy sequences that convert.)

Testing two different things against each other is the difference between the pros here and the amateurs...

Thanks for the input. I am having the emails written over by a copywriter who has done work for me before so we'll see if that helps and I'll keep you in mind

There is no size fits all answer. Like the marketer above me said, you will have to split test on your own to see what works and what doesn't. Go over your stats and offers. Chances are it could not be the product, but the copy or subscribers that are the issue. Isolate one variable and test to see what works and what doesn't.

I stay with one product throughout the lifetime of subscriber (doesnt matter if i have them for 3 years)... and offer a "catalog" of my products in the signature of my emails just in case they want to buy something else.
