Wow - 3 Big Ticket Sales This Weekend!

Business is really starting to pick up again. I guess maybe the economy is getting better, or at least peoples mindsets are changing. I am a firm believer that the media is what hurts many people, and causes our economy to suffer. They put a lot of scare in people, and then they are afraid to buy.

Does anyone else see a change, and notice they are generating more sales? Hopefully others are doing well, since we all need a strong economy to do great as Internet Marketers. Good Luck to everyone, and wish you the very best.

I also want to wish everyone a Happy Easter!! Don't forget the real meaning of Easter, and why this is such a special holiday.

    To be honest, I never saw any decline.

    People still spend money when times are bad - in fact, many people spend more on certain things when times are bad.

    There's always a rising market - the current climate just means you need to focus on certain niches rather than doing what worked before.

    I think this month will be my best this year and things are only looking better - but you never know. Only time will tell.

    I'll second the fact that I've never seen a decline. Mainly being in the health and fitness niche means you have buyers who are fanatical about their health.

      It's hard to say, because on the one hand you can demonstrate that it was all media-created, that there never really was any decline. On the other hand, you still hear real stories, every day, of major companies going belly up or laying off thousands of workers, and the massive unemployment numbers are real too.

      I haven't been doing much work in terms of promoting products as an affiliate so I don't have a huge volume of sales coming in. However, for the amount of work that I am putting in (next to nothing) I am seeing a good amount of sales.

      I honestly don't think that the "economy" is going to affect your sales as long as you are able to get your offer in front of the right people. This is something that I need to remind myself of regularly as I am about to launch a product of my own.

      Yes, you could hold back on your marketing efforts due to the fear of "a bad economy" but in my opinion this is sometimes the reason why people claim to have fewer sales. If you keep on marketing (to the right people) then you'll keep on getting sales.

    i didnt see any decline, i actually launched a product a month ago and made a good pile of cash.

    and now sales are still continuing to come in steadily. So im not sure if the economy hurt my sales in any way.

    for example, we made 34 sales yesterday for one of our products.

    Some business always put out special promotions around this
    time to 'catch' the tax return spenders.

    To be honest my income has actually gone
    up since the "recession". I personally believe
    this to be because more people are buying
    things on the internet to get the better deals.

    And in the internet marketing niche more people
    are buying because more people are turning to
    the internet to learn how to make money.

    Agreed on the media. Mainstream media journalists get my middle finger for lecherous profession of the century as peddlers of doom, death, scandal and fear. As if anyone needs more of that in their life.

    I think when you're in business for yourself it's better to be positive. But the media can't be blamed for being negative, the problem is that they've actually been far too positive over the past 10 years, telling everyone that house prices and the stock market could only ever go up.

    The media is often blamed for all the doom and gloom they peddle,
    but THAT IS WHAT SELLS!

    They are marketers too and they sell what people WANT not
    what they NEED.

    Just look at the posts that get the highest number of views
    on the WF you'll see that it's not very different. Call it
    human nature but people SAY they like positive stuff but
    give their attention to the negative stuff.

    The reason why the "scam" marketing tactic does so well.

    I think we have to differentiate between online and brick and mortar.

    It's no secret that online sales are going up since years whereas more and more small businesses have to close because they don't make enough money.

    Huge companies have record earnings while they lay off people and move their factories to india/china.

    No doubt that the online business is doing well, but I still see the regular businesses struggling. A lot.

    I've seen a slight increase in sales on my more expensive items such as my lifetime membership offer over the past couple of weeks, so I have to agree with other sentiments that it may just be due to tax refunds and people having a little more money to play around with.

    I hope the trend keeps going as I'm sure others do as well
