What's The Best Way To Promote a $67 "Offline Marketing" Product?

I ran a WSO for my Monthly Subscription service offering 60 minute video seminars that train people how to get booked on Radio and TV shows.

I sold that very successfully for $7.

The full price consumer cost is $67. Here's the squeeze page:

Free Publicity Star | Get Free Publicity on Radio, TV, and the Internet

My target audience is:

Authors
Entrepreneurs
Inventors
Pundits
Experts
Speakers
Anyone else who wants to get on TV and Radio.

Here's my question, What do you think is the best way to reach this audience?

Is this a "Niche" that affiliates have lists for and could sell too?
Is Google Adwords the best place for something like this?
Is there a "Warrior Forum" for all of these other groups?

Any insight or ideas for the "Offline Marketing" niche would be MUCH appreciated!

    Hi Mark,

I would recommend advertising in SpeakerNetNews.com. They have a large audience of speakers, coaches and consultants who engage in conversations about publicity all the time.

There are many ways of promoting your offers.

    1. affiliates. You can upload your product to Clickbank and other affiliate networs. This way affiliatrs will pick up your offer and promote it. However, you should offer them 75% commission at least in the front end, and you shoul use OTOs to to make the most out of your visitors.
    2. PPC. You could hire a PPC or SEO expert at Elance or odesk to get traffic. However, you should look at their feedback and contact some of their past clients.
    3. GetSubscribers.com will help you build a list of potrntial customers as soon as possible.

I use OneShoppingCart which has the capability of setting up Affiliate programs. Do you think Clickbank is better? Also for a monthly recurring billing product is 75% per month?

I was thinking of perhaps offering 100% on the first month and then 50% each month after.

      What do you think?

    Hi Mark,

I did run an ad once on SpeakerNetNews for my virtual assistant services but I quickly realized that most speakers can't afford me so I changed my target audience.

My only experience beyond that is seeing that some people run ads every week so it must work for them. You might contact the editors first and see if they think your offer would work.

I think you can run an ad on Facebook. It is very poplular, so it can help you to reach your customers.
    Hope that can help you.

The first thing that occured to me when I saw authors in your list was to JV with people right here who have WSOs about self publishing, Kindle, Create Space, etc. Particularly WSOs about how to promote your book, rather than how to publish, as most people buying those probably don't have a book out yet.

PS: Right after posting, it occurred to me that WSO buyers in general are used to low commitment and low price, so perhaps you could scale down your offering to feed the front end of your funnel with a basic primer, with an upsell to the continuity program. A $17 front end product with bonus webinar would probably be a great way to get more of the buyers to sign up for the monthly deal as well.

I agree with Greg, this forum is most likely not the best avenue for this product.

One thing you can get out of this forum is testimonials and case studies. As you have shared before, we are to "produce" compelling "contents" for the "target audience." You can create your own reality show. Pick a few Warriors to JV with, ie a popular Warrior, a newbie, an onliner, an offliner, etc... and get them booked onto radio and TV.

Create a "watch my reality show live" WSO (ie listening in your coaching calls with the "contestants," progress report of what the contestants did or did not do, the shows that were booked, tracking of results, etc...). Your coaching program will be the upsell.

$67/mo may seem high here in the Forum, but I think you are under pricing yourself. I've seen $3,000-$5,000 packages of nothing but CDs and documents.

    Hope this helps,
    Roger
