S3 Private Video setup - advice needed

Hi All,

I am just in the process of setting-up a privately hosted video, using Amazon's S3 and I need some guidance.

I have the video uploaded to the S3 bucket and I am using JW Player as the video player software for my live web page. It seems to work fine.

However, at present I am using the free version of JW Player, which places the JW Player logo at the top right of the video, which I do not want. So, I probably need to upgrade to a paid version to get rid of this.

My question is, before I pay any money, is JW player at around $150 the way to go? Are there better options around? Am I missing anything? Am I doing this right?

Like everybody else I have been hearing all the hype about EVS. Is this a video player as well as all the other things it does?

Any advice from those already experienced with this will be much appreciated.

Hey I would recommend getting s3flowshield, not only would this help if you want to protect your content and download links. But you get a single license of commercial flowplayer included. I have been using it for a while now works great

I have heard great things about EVS but yet to use it myself.

Thanks. I had heard of the product before and I have just re-watched their sales vids. It does look as if it is what I need. The only thing that it seems to lack is the ability to overlay Buy and Like buttons. Also, the flowplayer is for just one site, as you say, so I really want to hear more about EVS before I buy.

      Thanks again.
