Best way to monetise my domains

Hello Warriors,

I'm looking for some advice.

I have some great domains registrered related to upcoming smartphones and tablets that are really populair.

Let's take the example of iPhone6.com (I dont own it, I own similair names)

Whats the best way to approach this? I can make good wordpress sites and I know basic html(5), css and I know SEO.

are you selling items/products? if you do, then you know what to do.

else, used affiliate links, made you an extra income.

    thanks

As long as your domains do not contain trademarks like "iPhone", one way to monetize would be to create an Amazon product website based on the product(s) in your domain name.

Put up an affiliate front end and install a blog. Link to the blog from a top nav bar link. Use guest posts for your blog's content.

Wordpress seems to be the way to go, use the top plugins including WP-Insert, along with Adsense or CPA to monetize them.

If your domains contain any trademarks you won't own them for long enough to profit from them...

Could you guys who warned about trademarks give examples of people losing their domain names? (I mean regular, straightforward sites) I have a handful of trademark names and they do really well. Every time someone asks a question on WF about trademarks you always get the public service announcement people giving warnings. Sure it's a risk and the sites themselves can't be easily sold but they work for me.

    I'm selling their product...

Plus, shouldn't the domain companies be liable for selling them in the first place. How hard would it be for godaddy to restrict the sale of iPhone related names to only Apple?

First of all, GoDaddy can not do that as I may want to register the domain "MiniPhone.com" and that has absolutely nothing to do with iPhones. Next, I would just try to sell the domain ASAP. You can wait until the product is released and make a lot more but it is like gambling, there is a much greater risk and you might end up with nothing while you can cash out right now.

Well, you can resell these websites you'll create. Or you can offer ad placement like banner or text ads at your website.
