How Much Money Can You Actually Make Every Month from Selling Your Services on Fiverr.com?

Hey Warriors!

I recently posted another thread asking people what they thought the easiest way for a beginner to make money online and an overwhelming number of responses said that Fiverr.com was the place to do it.

Personally, I've been using Fiverr for almost 2 years now and agree that it's an easy way to make some extra money, especially when using it to get leads for larger sales.

What I'm curious to hear from other Warriors is about how much money do you make every month from selling Fiverr gigs? Do you pull in a couple hundred dollars or have you been able to break the $1,000/month mark? Do you also just make your money from selling gigs or do you also use it to get leads for larger sales related to your $5 gig? What's been a good strategy for you to increase your sales?

And just generally speaking, what are your thoughts on Fiverr? Do you like it or do you think it might be overrated? I'm really curious what other Warriors think of it...

Thanks,
Ben

I'm not working with fiverr but it is possible to make 3-4 figures per month. I know some people making a lot of money with it

I make around $2,000 just writing. It's a lot of effort and I know I am worth more than that. Main reason is because I estimate around 75% of my orders are for 'gig extras' and overall my average order is around $30 or so for an hour of work. Could possibly make more than this.

I did a gig once, and did about $300/mo. Also, got an upsell for a consulting gig out of it for about $300 too. Not bad, but paused it since managing all these little $5 gigs was a PITA! If I spent the same time on something else I would have made more... just a good change of pace, doing something a little different for me.

The number of people actually making $thousands a month must be pretty small. If you sort the home page by rating and take the top gig (which posts to a large Twitter following), and include all of that person's other gigs, they've sold 7000 in 10 months = $28000 (not even counting PayPal fees!). The money must be in gig extras, but even then it sounds like hard work, as Ryan suggests!

Before I used to provide some SEO services and later on converted as a buyer for this cheap price. But we have to found some good gigs though, otherwise it will be screwed!

you can easily make 4 figures on fiverr and that i am doing too.

There are some tools that i use to make that sum and all i have to do is sit back and see the money rolling.

I dont work hard on fiverr.

Just let me know if you are interested to know how i do that.

    Thanks
    Festi

How long is a piece of string? Like any answer for this question, only your own results are going to matter. It's rare to really kill it on Fiverr but most can make at least a decent part-time cash injection.

The key to succedd on fiverr is promote your service on another place also don't forget good feedback. I've seen some guys or mybe teams had 50-250 orders /day from 1 gig alone. They promote their gigs via forum, article , press release, facebook, twitter. If you don't promote your service and waiting customer find you , you can't get many orders.

It depends on the gig you are offering and how well you are promoting your gig, there are lots of warrior members that are making a killing.

it depends on what type of service you are offering and how effectively you are doing it in. i have seen people doing a website for $5 and i dont understand what makes them earn out of it.

Making it on fiverr isnt that hard. You just need to offer services that are on demand. My best months have been in the mid 4 figures from fiverr.

The key to making money on fiverr is to push hard on the extras. You won't make any real money just doing the 5.00 gigs. One other way is to resell the SEO reports that you buy for 5.00, I personalize them and sell to my clients for 50-100.

I know some people who are making over 1k but they really see this as a serious business. To earn more you have to have people working for you. Doing everything alone is not an option.

You can make a few thousand dollars on Fiverr if you a number of gigs that offer good value. The trick is to free yourself for your other gigs. For example if you end up writing articles all day you will not have time for much else.

Well, Ben, I've had gigs on Fiverrs with a couple of accounts for a year now and I'm kind of lazy....

I just like doing copy/paste stuff....

Makes me 275 to 350 a month, and yeah, I could make more....

Fiverr is EXCELLENT, but it sucks with regard to any kind of ADDITIONAL sales like you would make by having your own website and building a BUYERS LIST....see? Too damn restrictive at Fiverr and they have no way to keep up with customers through their system without some asshole flagging you for spam if you contact them later...

But generally my experience has been that people will take a chance on you on Fiverr even with no rating or reviews, and that of course is a big plus.

It's a love/hate thing with me when it comes to Fiverr.

Getting to 4 figures is possible on Fiverr. I've seen people making 4 figures on Fiverr, but it doesn't matter how much others are making. All that matters is how much you can and will make on Fiverr, right? So buddy focus more on "how to earn more on fiverr" and not on "how much others earn on fiverr".

I used to write reviews and design logos on Fiverr. Had about 2 orders a day as a level 1 seller. Rose to level 2, then a few months later got slapped back to level 1 for some random thing. But I wasn't sad about it. It took too much time for too little return, so I dropped out of Fiverr. Then I thought...what if I put booklets on Fiverr responding to people's big issues? Voila! The writing takes a while, but afterwards, it's just click, click, click. I sell about 5 booklets a day. Woo-hoo...$20 a day, $600/mo. It's better than Amazon, except that I have to actually push the button on Fiverr. I noticed the other day that Fiverr was advertising one of my gigs in their pay-per-click on Google. That was a surprise, and explained why I saw an uptick in orders all of a sudden.

Oh, and I optimize my listings carefully, as well as take very good care of my customers. Many of them turn into higher-paying gigs off fiverr.
