Forum "Dashboard"?

Does anyone know of a tool that lets you respond to multiple forums from one 'dashboard' without having to go to each site individually? Thanks

      Well, I have been researching services like hubspot which are big on the idea of using multiple tools from a common interface to manage different facets of an online business, and hootsuite and the like simplify staying on top of social media, so by extension I am wondering if there is any value in a forum style dashboard. Is this a tool that could only be used for evil?

          Problem with such a tool is you'd quickly be banned from any worthwhile forums.

    If you are using forums for what they are intended for, you shouldn't need a dashboard like that.

      Well, there is so much on this forum dedicated to Internet Marketing, would a tool such as Forum Fortunes Software be taboo to everyone? Has anyone here used it- or something like it? How is it different from all the other social monitoring tools?

        This isn't social media where people commonly throw out tweets and messages unrelated to anything else.

        That's the problem - on a discussion board you are expected to respond on topic. What you are describing as I understand it would be posting messages that are so generic they wouldn't make sense in a discussion.

        It would be viewed in the same light as "paid forum posting" and banned in the same way. I can't see how there would be benefit in it for you - and there's certainly no benefit for forums.

    I really only see the benefit of a tool like this to people who were only contributing and posting to forums for their own benefit such as signature exposure or the like. Anyone who is being a valueable contributor to a forum would be much happier to just go to the forum and post directly.
