Would mass spammy type videos work on youtube???

I have this process I created. It's takes about 10 minutes if you get fast at it, but it allows you to create 120 short x 30 second youtube videos. Each video's file name is named after a keyword you want to target.

The only challenge is that the videos only have 3 things:
1) slide show of pictures relating to your site
2) music
3) a short text message and your website URL
I tried this before and would put them on youtube each targeting specific keywords. And this worked well. But that was like 4 years ago. I can't even find an example for you. The point is more for SEO than say driving traffic. But if someone clicks on it maybe your txt get's them curious.

Like:"lose 30 pounds in a weekend using this unreal training system...(click here...URL)" ...............or some kind of ridiculous headline

I wonder if that would actually still work anymore??? Is that worth doing or is that risky???

Now you can actually put a click-able link within the video, just phone verify your account and you're good to go to add a website link in the video itself!

why dont you work on a few videos that actually help people do something then focus on promoting those videos inside of youtube or using some video ranking strategies, quality will beat quantity any day of the week.

Imagine that you owned a site like youtube - but not youtube.

      We'll call it aceshigh888tube.

Now Imagine you have user who are just uploading tons of crap videos with links. They are using up space on your server, your bandwidth, and they have no intention of putting up helpful content other than a link going back to their site.

Are you going to be happy about this member?

Very well said. I wonder how people hoping that a crappy method will work only because someone else think it is working, while they can think about how someone will click on a link, when the video is worht nothing. Maybe this would work only if the targets are keywords that people search but there is no video about them at all, and people will get only this crappy videos instead and maybe click on the links.

The spam/scam sensor of the traffic has evolved into a more and more sensible thing.
This has been tried in some form or another, and I would advise to keep using the human touch.

Sure, if you give value. However, the title of the post includes the words "mass" and "spammy" which in my mind implies no value.

Actually I find it hard to imagine how a 30 second video could provide value but my imagination isn't that good.

Anyway, it seems like a method that would get your youtube account banned quickly IMHO.

For as long as it takes someone to report those spammy videos. YouTube has deleted thousands of crap videos like those and continue to delete them and ban the accounts.

I'll have to put some thought into how to do this in a way in which it could be perceived in a mannor that is offering some kind of value in which youtube wouldn't consider it spam. But my system only allows for certain perameters to be used. It's like an assembly line concept. You can't customize much really. But it's fast to get set up which is what I like about it.
