    Giving great content will play a big part in your open rates too. If your list can't wait for your next email, the subject line won't even play a role.

    Make awesome freebies and emails that actually help your list.

    The open rates will depend on what type of list you have. If it's a buyers list, I would expect 30%+ and for a prospect list 15%+

    But those aren't concrete numbers.. just an average of what I've experienced.

      When your subscribers know that you are sending them a lot of free content, more and more will open up your emails.

      Your subject line on the other hand plays a huge role too. That is why you always have to test different subject lines in each and every email that you send out.

      When you already have buyers who know you by now, you open rate will be slightly higher then your regular list.
