Creating Professional Video Animation

I have Camtasia and Screenflow (for mac) but does anyone know how to create professional animations within the video?

Here are a couple of examples:

Any idea how they create their animations?

    These videos are probably made using more than one application.

    I'll guess these examples use something like Adobe After Effects and/or Flash for the animation, along with a graphics program such as Photoshop.
