Craiglist always says "please review and confirm your ad by email"... then they always post it!

Its really not a problem, but I just find this aspect of craigslist weird.

Every single time I make a post, they say "please review and confirm your ad by email". Like you have to go to your email to confirm the ad, but then they just post it regardless.

But then why tell you this everytime you post? It seems pretty useless.

Are they really trying to say "you can review and edit your ad by email"?

I don't think they are, because why would they beg with "please"?

Like they beg you to do something... that you can't even do if you tried.
Because I use to go to my email looking for some type of confirmation link, and would never find one.

Again this is a stupid thread but I'm just curious.
Am I the confused one or is Craigslist?

Its a great way to confuse users and they should just take that stupid line out imho.

    I have found that the only time I get that message and have to email verify, it's because my IP has changed. If my IP remains constant, I do not get that message. (But yes, they still get posted.)

    Is your IP constantly changing?
