Browser Issues Cost Company 31% of Sales

I saw the TV commercial for the GripGo. I went to GripGo? Hands-Free Phone Mount - As Seen On TV to buy one for my girlfriend and I. The order button did not work. I clicked it and nothing happened. I clicked the second order button and nothing happened.

So just to check, I opened IE and it worked fine. I DID buy the product but I doubt most people would do what I did.

According to W3Schools.com, 31.1% are using Firefox and only 14.7% use IE.

This is a HUGE marketing mistake. This company is paying hundreds of thousands to advertise on television and are killing their conversions by losing 3 out of 10 potential online ordering customers.

Just last week I was beating my head against the wall trying to get a critical submission at a website to work. Multiple browsers on different computers - nothing.

Finally, talking to someone at tech support I said I had tried Firefox and Chrome and the site was simply not working. They said their site only works with Internet Explorer.

Yep, IE works perfectly with the site. Unbelievable.
