Demographics for smaller niches...

Fellow Warriors,

I'm looking to get the demographics for a niche that I plan on entering.

What are the best ways to come up with demographics data for niches.

I know about Quantcast but don't fully understand how to use it to get accurate results when it comes to targeting a niche within a market.

I've tried entering my niche keyword into a Google search, grabbing some of the url's from that search and then popping those into Quantcast but some of the url's are site that have pages about my niche but are not specifically a site about that niche. Quantcast gives demographics on the root domain and since these root domains are not specifically about my niche, the demographics are incorrect.

Any help will be appreciated greatly.

        I think this will help: DMA Mailing List Search Tool

        Enter your micro-niche and it'll show the relevant magazines and periodicals,
        along with demographic data such as subscription nos., age group and
        average income of the readers etc.
