Looking for WP Theme Suggestions

Hey guys,

I am looking for WP theme (or framework) that is:

* quick and easy to install and customize
* can fit into many different niches (by for example changing a banner in the header and adapting some colors)
* has clean code, loads quickly and is ready for SEO

I have used ProSense but it looks just plain ugly and it is hard to make decent revenue with such a site by other means than just AdSense. I have also used themes by ElegantThemes in the past and generally liked them but in the end it just always seemed a little bit too much work to select and then customize those themes.

In a nutshell: I am looking for one or two WP themes or frameworks that I can use for all of my niche site launches. Something pretty, yet easy and quick to set up.

I am OK with paid themes/frameworks.

I would honestly say - since you've tried some things on the market and are still unhappy - make your own! That way you can set EVERYTHING up exactly how YOU want it and not be trying to find one that best suits your wants/needs.

The beautiful thing about making your own is you have all that customizing ability, plus once you're done, if you want, you can sell the theme and make even more money from it.

Since you are ok with paid themes I will go ahead and throw my name out there as someone who can build you 1 or 2 custom themes. So if you are not tech savvy you can STILL have your own unique theme. PM me if you're interested.

    All The Best!

Check richwp - very agile and fits all your requirements. I'm very pleased with them.

I use Woo Themes and love them. They have some free ones as well as tons of paid ones.

Anyone know the name of the theme used on this site and where to get it?

I think it is about what I was looking for. A good theme to use when a site is first set up.

According to the style sheet, it's a custom design

      Theme Name: nichesitetwo
      Description: Custom design theme

You should check out various StudioPress themes. I use their LifeStyle Theme and am very happy with it. As a paid theme -- they upgrade it often which is important for a smooth running site

Take a look at Montezuma. It uses CSS3 and HTML5 and is fully responsive. You do need to edit the coding. It has a good support forum, too.

If you aren't looking for responsive, try my old friend Atahualpa.

I think you could use the twenty ten theme and create a child theme to make your customizations

    I recommend Suffusion.

    Let me quote:

It supports Mega-Menus, custom layout templates, advanced support for custom post types, customizable drop-down menus, featured sliders, tabbed sidebars, a magazine layout and lots of enhanced widgets for Twitter, Flickr, Google etc. It has 19 widget areas, one-column, two-column and three-column responsive, fixed-width and flexible-width layouts, 9 pre-defined templates and 19 pre-defined color schemes."
