Stock Images where you can add text

I am building a new website and would like to have a series of business related stock images in a slide show. I would like to find images where the people are on left or right where the rest of the image only contains the image background so that I can add text.

All of the stock images that I have seen have people filling the entire image. There is no room to add text.

Can anyone recommend a source for stock images where the people only take up 50% of the image leaving plenty of room for text?

Get a white background image and simply increase the canvas size on your favorite graphics software

I have seen seen many sites that place the text on the background of the stock image. An example can be seen at Ultimate Team Success

That looks like they have 'cut out' the people from the original background and added it to their own background. You would need Photoshop or similar software to do that. I can't imagine that they both were purchased as the same stock image.

In order for this to work I would need to find transparent images. Does anyone know of a source for finding royalty free business photos that are available in a transparent background format such as PNG?

I just use OO draw. Serious. LOL - hey it works - here's the book cover I just made (showing this off because I have absolutely Zero artistic talent and people are actually pming me to tell me they really like it). I did it with my own photo and Open Office draw. You, of course, can arrange texts, backgrounds, and pictures any way you want. I just use Irfanview to crop and size them after I make them.
