If 5 minutes is enough than Screenr is one of the options, too. (Free version allows to record 5 minutes.)

I recommend you Ezvid to capture HD screen capture.

Besides this you can also use Camsatia studio 8

I'm using screencastomatic because it's free
and you can record hd video in 15 min. max!

The only thing about this software (site) is that you
can't edit videos with it. You need to find another
video editor.

You may try with ActivePresenter:

Even the free version is very powerful.

Another vote for Camtasia here. Do a Google search for their website and you can get a 30-day free trial of the latest version. Spend a few days getting to know how it works and you will be very impressed with some of the things you can do with it.

Huge range of editing possibilities too so if your budget allows it then Camtasia will be a good bet.

I've been very happy with Camtasia as well. It's very solid.

My editing needs are pretty basic, but I do all of my video editing in Camtasia.
