How to protect specific pieces of content on your website for subscribers only?

I am trying to figure out the best way to separate content for my client's website by the following categories.

1. Available for everyone

2. Available for subscribers who opt-in

3. Available for paid members

What would be the best way of doing this?

Would the content for subscribers only and paid members be visible to search engines?

Can't help with the rest, but I'm pretty confident the answer to this part is "that's up to you - it can be set to be indexed or not, as you prefer".

There are various writers' forums where authors (needing not to have things indexed) can post (inviting comments) excerpts from their works-in-progress in password-protected subforums which are shielded from search engines.

  • There are plenty of content management membership plugins: Wishlist or Digital Access Pass for Wordpress-based sites, or Amember for standard HTML sites.

Yes bro, it sounds like you need a membership site. Currently I use wishlist, but there are others out there too. That i believe will solve your problem.
