Selling Ebook Through Clickbank, Stamping Via E-Junkie - Affiliate Cookie Issue?

I have been reading around the forum and it seems as though one can put his book on Clickbank and have it stamped via e-junkie. I have an ebook I want to sell on Clickbank (via affiliates) and would like it to be stamped, e-junkie thus seems like the best place t get the PDF stamping. I haven't read about this method working when having affiliates selling an ebook though.

I'm new to both e-junkie and Clickbank, would there be any problems with the affiliate cookie if I do this method of PDF stamping through e-junkie in Clickbank? I have been told of problems with the CB cookie and don't fully understand how the process would work.

Thank you!

You have to make sure the customer pays you through click bank, not any other method.

You also have to make sure your affiliates use the same click bank nickname for the vendor part of the hop link, as you use when linking to the click bank payment page.

As long as you do those 2 things, it doesn't matter what else you do.

      Thank you Sunil.

The problem is that I am new to CB (not e-junkie) so I'm not entirely sure of the working of the process. Apparently, I would have to put the Buy Now button that belongs to e-junkie, not CB (as per the intructions of e-junkie), would this affect the affiliate comision of the CB affiliate sending the customer?

    Yes; one can indeed.

Very wise. I'm continually surprised that more people don't do this. (I always imagine it must just be that many people aren't aware of it?).

I wouldn't think that whether or not it's an affiliate-referred sale has anything to do with e-junkie stamping the PDF? The payment is handled by ClickBank in the normal way, just as if you weren't also using e-junkie, surely? E-junkie is being used only as the PDF-delivery system, in these cases? Its involvement in each transaction begins only after ClickBank has processed the payment?

I haven't done this, but I can't imagine why there should be, at all? The cookie comes into it at an earlier stage, and relates to how ClickBank divides up the money delivered to them as a result of their processing the sale after submission of the order-form, i.e. before the customer's given the download-link?

That surprises me. It's not easy to see why that would cause problems? Again, I haven't done this, but if nobody currently doing this replies here, e-junkie's help desk/support staff will doubtless advise you?

Like I said make sure of the 2 things and you are golden.

It doesn't matter what you do after the customer gets to your site before the payment step.

And it doesn't matter what you do after the payment step.

But don't mess with the payment step.

Don't for example accept payments through e-junkie's system instead of thru click bank. Don't accept pay pal except through cb, etc

Thanks Alexa, I actually read about you mentioning this process in another thread, but wasn't sure whether you were talking about one putting his ebook on Clickbank and selling it himself, or having the ebook sold by others (CB affiliates).

According to e-junkie, the Buy Now button has to be e-junkie's, not Clickbank's (unless I'm reading it wrong).

What I would ideally want is have the person pay through CB (so affiliate earns commision), then have e-junkie deliver the stamped PDF? (I'm asking as I'm not sure).

I'm considering emailing the guys, but wanted to ask first here so others can know about it and maybe someone can post their experience. For what is worth, below is the page on e-junkie talking about incoporating e-junkie to CB:

    Selling with ClickBank

I must be reading wrong, but how would an affiliate make his/her commision if the Buy Now button is e-junkie's and not CB's?

I think they are saying is if you set it upright, the E-Junkie payment link (i.e. their Buy Now button) will redirect via a ClickBank order form.

In principle that idea could work. As long as clickBank is the one accepting money/payment/paypal/credit card, not e-junkie directly, and not paypal directly.

You can check it's working by checking (a) do you see a ClickBank payment form at some step in the payment process - you should, and (b) try making an affiliate hop link (using somebody else's nickname) to your own site, then buying. When you get to the ClickBank secure payment form, you should be able to see the affiliate nickname in brackets right at the bottom of the page.
