Does anyone here make big money with hubpages?

I only recently realised the power of a hubpage, you can get adsense clicks, put affiliates to ebay and amazon, and it seo's great along with powerful backlinks.

So I imagine that there are tons of warriors doing this hubpage, and squidoo pages.

Its the same thing as articles except that you can get paid.

So is anyone here making any decent money with hubpages or squidoo?

I use both squidoo & hubpages, but I do not do it for the money. I do it for the backlinks to help my main websites. I think the money that you make from these kinds of websites is quite low. You really need a large network of hubs/lenses to make any kind of decent money. For the effort required, I think it would be better to optimize something on your own website.

You can get backlinks and everything, along with making a dollar or two from each everyday. Imagine making 2 dollars from 300 hubs everyday along with having the backlinks...that would be sweet.

      And don't forget affiliates

I think making a dollar or two per hub per day is being overoptimistic. You would need a high traffic hub to accomplish that. Do some tests with one or two hubs and see how you do. Keep in mind that with all the ads, you have to split that with hubpages.com.

You wouldn't have full control over the hub either. One day hubpages could switch to a paid version or even shut it doors. They could also change the ad revenue sharing scheme at any point.

So i'm being optimistic, i can take that. Cuz a chance at 1 buck a day is better than a no pay article. Shoot if you have 300 at .30 cents a day would still be 36000 a year, not even to mention the money you can make from your own webpage after generating the traffic.

I normally create hub pages and squidoo lenses in order to drive traffic to my blogs or websites where I do sell products or have affiliate programs... So I guess I could say I make money indirectly from them...

    • Hello,

I only use hubpages for traffic building. I assume if you have very good content that you can be able to make alot of money via your adsense codes that they allow you to use, but if you use it for traffic and links you will see more success i feel.

    Hey,

Don't put your business on other people's hand. Get your own website and build a list.

Just use hubpages to build backlinks.

        I was talking about hubpages...

        Blogger?

What I am saying is that you can't build a business with hubpages because you are not in control.

Just use them for backlinks and little traffic and forget about the money you can make with hubpages (except if you don't want to build a real business).

        All the best,

        Franck

It's apparent you're exceited about trying this - so stop wasting time looking for validation, and go test it

Build a few each day for a week and see how it goes over the next week. You may be on to something, you may not - but you will never know until you actually try it.

I've been using Hubs for link juice in the past. Most of my hubs I start now have red flags because of Affiliate Links...and it is NOT and affiliate linnk, but just a link to my blog.

Because I do things in a hurry, I have not been using Hubs at all...and moving on to better links juice that are faster and easier to set up.

Hubpages should be used as an "editorial" arm of traffic and link generation. I get some decent traffic from one link to my site in each of my hubs. The posts on hubpages are unique and not published elsewhere and I don't advertise anything.

I can write the unique content and build a hub page in an hour or less - but they aren't money makers. They are link juice and some traffic flow. The ease of doing them is worth it to me.
