How can I make the home page of my site similar to my competitor's homepage?

Please share your competitors website also if the website on your signature is the one you are talking about it requires more unique content and a proper theme that you can install from your wp backend and there are different plugins for ad or link placement so that yours can convert too. The first step is unique content and the second one is presenting it properly to the visitors and making the site search engine friendly for the search engines to index your site and provide your free traffic.

I'd never even thought about a cheater's spying app until I seen one on Shark Tank.. lol

But yes, your site needs WORK! Have you not thought about getting a Logo for the pages Header? I would quite possibly have a static picture in place of the fluorescent pink sides.. And minimizing the menu bar to just 1 line instead of two.. OR just moving all the content to a more 2.0 styled page, something for the more "here and now" crowd..

when i see your competitors site i see that they are selling a product through a platform called plimus thats why they dont have to send out people away from site , you have to have a product of your own and then worry about traffic till then you can promote some other related product as an affiliate .

First off you got a very nice original niche, that could be very succesful. Sadly cause cheating is going rampant in our society, but still with a lot of potential for profit nonetheless lol. But you also have a very poorly designed website and concept. Sorry but I'd rather tell you upfront and not sugarcoat the pill for newbie affiliates, don't want you losing money and time like I did.

You seriously need to revamp the site, add content and make it look less amateur. And you got an edge over your competition... your site is a blog, make it so and not just a wordpress default site landing page. Do not meet your audience first with an advertising, to be honest it'd probably be like a slap in the face for an upset cheated spouse. Engage them, sell them your story first, offer advice and council in your posts. People are looking for a shoulder to cry more than they're looking for spying software, so give it to them, have them sign to your newsletter and then sell them the nice piece of software that will help them out. You can sell them ebooks too, the sky is the limit, And you can actually make a positive impact in their lives.

Also to be honest you have an AWESOME FREAKING BRANDABLE DOMAIN NAME. That would be much better off as a forum. Where women who suspect or are sure to be cheated on, can come up chime in, tell their own story, give their own advice or seek it. Seriously it could be a raving community where high quality content and engagement will build on itself. Then you'll just gotta watch it grow and put a few banners around to monetize further.

Seriously I do believe you're sitting on a goldmine.

just having a site like your competitors will not make you money, you need to learn how they are marketing and driving traffic, you cant just copy someones site and expect to make money.

First off, lose the pink background and get a real Wordpress theme. There are plenty of free ones around that look a whole lot better than what you've got.

You're going to need to buckle down and start learning this stuff ... changing themes, etc. if you want to get anything done without money because most people are not going to offer their services for free.

Changing a theme is very simple and there are many Wordpress tutorials on the Net for free. Your competitor has a simple sales page, which is great for this type of product and easy enough to learn to do yourself. There are even plenty of free sales page templates around if you look, but again, you're going to need to start learning this stuff or outsource it.
