Hey guys, I've had some successes with some very cool and lucrative niches.

I'm wondering what your views are on the most lucrative niches to be involved with online, besides x rated and gambling?

Loans, mortgages, debt etc are really good but very competitive.

Very cool. I've wanted to try dating. That Plenty of Fish dude is making a killing. Insurance, I should be in that one, considering I have my license to sell it...lol. (didn't we all at one time, eh..)

I found that the most lucurative niches for me are affiliate training systems.
other than that I also found that the ones that make the most money with the least advertising are the most lucrative. <grin>

Right now I would say anything that has to do with the economy and takes advantage of the crisis (or related): debt consolidation, investment, mortgage for starters... And then the effects it has on people: anxiety, depression...

  • Make money is a SMALL niche compared to many others.

If you strike up a conversation with anyone, what percentage can honestly say they are directly interested or involved in the make money online category? Not nearly as many as a lot of people here would believe.

But Chris, everyone can use more money! Therefore, everyone is part of the Make Money niche! WRONG. Interest or use doesn't make a market for me, people BUYING makes a market. Everyone WANTS more money, but only a small percentage of those people are willing to BUY products relating to it.

Here are some markets that are much more encompassing...

Health and Fitness. How many ads a day on television do you see for Bally Fitness, BowFlex, Weight Loss Drugs, Sleep Pills, everything like that? How many commercials do you see before 2am relating to Making money online? Not many, if any at all. Most that you will see, are vague or disguised (amway). Everyone has their health and most people are willing to pay for it.

How many car dealership commercials do you see? How many letters do you get in the mail for car dealerships, credit cards, and from banks? At least in the US, a huge majority of people have cars, credit cards, and bank accounts.

Pets. In many conducted surveys (i'll dig them up if anyone is interested), it's been proven that in the united states, in a case vs case basis, people are willing to spend more for their pets upbringing, than their own children.

Dating, Social sites. Humans are a social animal by nature, we can't exist very comfortably without each other. Social websites, Dating Websites, all of these markets are massive.

Entertainment. Movies, music, books, plays. Almost everyone watches movies, listens to musics or reads something entertaining. These are massive, often overlooked markets.

    Adult industry. Nuff said.

The list goes on and on.

Some niches are more profitable per person, some are more profitable quickly, but ultimately, a niches level of lucrativeness depends on how well you can capitalize on that interest.

One thing I will say, is that if you can turn a decent penny in the Make Money niche, you are going to love how easy it is in other markets.

Money isn't real, George. It doesn't matter. It only seems like it does.

James and Chris..rock solid stuff. I liked the idea of the effects on people from the economic crisis...depression, anxiety, debt counseling, foreclosures, etc.

Excellent points. And we are out to help people too..and not just make a buck.

Making money with real estate especially now with the amount of foreclosures and bank owned properties. But of course it's a down market so no one wants to buy. Which is why it is the time to buy property and sell this kind of info. Just sell it with some kind of spin.

Problem is...not many have the cash flow for big purchases these days..or they don't want to take the risk to do so.

James and Chris....good analysis from both side most especially on looking at it from the perspective of this economic crisis. However, I strongly believe that though make money online are not advertise on tv's etc but its the most converting niche that has ever evolved and would still continue to convert and make big money from it......

    Hi Mark,

I think the key point here is that you should be now looking to 'systematize' your processes so you can enter ANY niche and test it.

We now can do this and I tell you it has opened so many sub niches that we never would have found by keyword research that its crazy.

    Hope this helps
    Mark
