What makes a good looking Ebook?

Hi,

I'm revamping an Ebook I wrote a few years back, I have all the text done, but does anyone know how to make it look better.

Such as:

Can you get templates?
Are certain fonts better to use? (I'm using Arial)
Any good examples of other peoples work?

Thanks, Phil

One thing I know that can make it good is buy buying one.
You can even get such service for $5 from fiverr and other similar sites.
And I remember correctly, some members here in WF also offer the same service for a low price.
Or have you made up you mind to do it yourself?

Here is my first squeeze page I have ever made with one of my eBooks called
    "Save Money- Save Energy Tips"
    FREE Gift

Here is the download page for you to see the eBook.
    Download Page

It is just ten tips for you to save energy around the house. I still don't think it is that great, but still to this day I get people signing up for it like it is hot cakes.

There are no offers being promoted in this eBook.
I figured it would be ok to post this as the download page is in here to.

Georgia is the best font to use for your content.
Tahoma is the best font for your headlines.

Hope this helps you get creative on what your looking for.

I would try changing the font from Arial to something different. When people see Arial, Times New Roman, Cambria (Mac users) it's the same fonts that they're used to seeing on their computers...which means it looks like somebody made it at their computer and it wasn't "professionally" done.

A lot of books use Book Anqigua for the font. There are tons of good free fonts out there that give it a little bit different look and don't make it look so "common" to the end user.

Go to fivver and get a professional designer to do it for you... I've tried a couple of them and never been happy but just as long as no customer has ever complained about my designs then I'm good

    Less color please!!
Those days with vibrant, cheesy looks are so dated.
