If you started an online product marketplace, what would you do differently?

I was reading a post by mightybw about his affiliate account getting completely sacked and virtually no account support from Clickbank. Things like that are just wrong, but it got me thinking --

If you created a service just like Clickbank (ie. you primarily sell online products), what would you do differently?

I can think of two things inspired by Mightybw's post:
1) Clear account policies
2) Responsive and meaningful support

What else?

ClickBank doesn't "only sell online products": Shippable Media

      Good call -- Corrected OP.

Thoughts on an ideal service though?

I would give affiliates clear data unlike CB with its Gravity, Popularity, Star Rating etc. Make it so can quickly see clear sales data for products. Providing a lot of info up front would, hopefully, decrease a lot of back end support.

Use Amazon as a model rather than Clickbank.
