New to Warrior Forum - Not New Internet Marketing

Heya Guys,

I am newish to the Warrior forums, I actually signed up quite some time ago but never bothered to visit much or make posts here (Shame on Me!)

I took a good look at the:

New? -- Read This!

Thread that is stickied at the top of this forum but unfortunately the thread I was most interested in from there did not exist or was removed...it was the one about Flipping websites.

SO I just had a couple questions about flipping websites....

Like... say I wanted to create a website and sell it for $100 whats the timeline before I should sell it, can I sell it after a week? Does it need to be generating adsense revenue? Ranking High in Search?

Of course I know the obvious answers that adsense revenue and high rankings are useful but are they necessary?

What about content? If I fill it with 30 unique articles is that enough to justify its sale for $100????

I have my own student loans site that I've got over 50 articles on, I've put so much into it but it is barely generating $0.20/day. I think this is because its my baby site that I used to learn everything I know about internet marketing and keyword research that and the keywords I'm after for that site are extremely difficult to rank for.

    If you create a blog, you can sell it on the same day for $100. Just take a look at this auction for an example. {Click}

    Um, you don't need adsense revenue, high search terms for just $100. If you have those (which I'd think will take some time...), the site will sell for a lot more than just $100.

    Necessary? No.

    Many do with just 10-15. (Even I do with 8-10).

    Why not try some long tail keywords which give you some traffic that you can monetize? If keywords are so difficult to rank for, why not try for some other ones?

      Thanks so much, that was really informative, I might try selling my student loans site if I can come up with the $20 to sell it under established websites, I'm extremely tight for cash right now *sigh* I really would like to earn money from flipping websites.....so thank you for the example of the blog you successfully flipped...I appreciate it
