Just a thought, will it also work if I just copy my articles, put them in microsoft word then save it as a pdf file?

Technical wise speaking, it works as this is how I usually quick produce my PDF. Unless your MS Words is very old version, it should come with Save As PDF function.

But if you're publishing your PDF to Kindle, consider it again as this is NOT the best recommended format to publish to Amazon.

While we accept Portable Document Format (PDF) files for eBook conversion, PDF files contain special formatting (and sometimes images) which may not export well in the conversion process. It is difficult for optical character recognition systems like our KDP converter to interpret the embedded formatting and image placement.

Publishers have reported formatting and conversion issues when uploading PDF files, such as irregularly bolded text, irregular page breaks, inconsistent font sizes, inconsistent text flow, and missing or oversized images. If this occurs, we recommend converting your PDF to DOC format and following our Simplified Guide to Building a Kindle Book.

If you plan to publish for Kindle you'll need special formatting. You can upload the book on amazon in a doc format, but do apply the info in their guide: https://kdp.amazon.com/self-publishi...A17W8UM0MMSQX6

As far as converting the blog using a simple plugin, I think it's best to copy-paste the articles. Using a plugin you might end up spending time doing the cleaning of the document.

I assume you have 8K words of content but not 8K posts?

8K of words isn't a lot. I've helped my clients to publish more than that before.

Copy and paste them yourself is the easiest way. If not, pay $5 to Fiverr to get someone else to do this.

If it's a total of 8K articles, you might consider to break the content into several books. It's way too many pages. It will be expensive to get the formatting done or drive you nuts if you do it yourself.

Get a plugin to export the content might be an option but I'll say instead of publish them all at once. Extract the best 20 to 30 articles to publish first before you release a second volume.

The key point is the formatting and other stuffs.

I tried word document to PDF, it was perfect. Just copy all the content from the web page to your word document and perform this action. I am sure you will get the expected output.
