    A quick Blueprint:

    - Find the product you want to promote (clickbank or any other source)
    - Read the sales page and write 3 things you like about the product and three problems which this product can solve
    - Register a domain (product name + reviews)
    - Create a 2-5 mins video (own video is great). If you are camera savvy then you can use someone's video (I personally don't recommend this)
    - Upload it and put relevant search phrases for optimization (including the phrase product name review)
    - Niche will depend on the product you select.

    Hope this helps.

Do you optimise description for SEO?
Yes, I of course optimize my videos for SEO benefit. I always use related search tags, title and a well optimized description.

Create a video that teaches people something, like how to make a ceramic cookie jar. Then add a link to a page on your site that has ceramic supplies.

While you should do basic video SEO, creating helpful videos will take you farther than just sales videos and let you exploit the social aspects of Youtube. Many marketers overlook the fact that alot of videos get way more traffic from internal Youtube sources than from YT and Google search.

As Kurt hinted at... while you should do some basic SEO for your videos, you definitely want to focus on creating non-salesy videos with good, quality content (the kind that people will want to share with their friends). That's the type of traffic you want.

But whatever you do... don't send your YouTube traffic directly to a sales page! I've done that in the past, and I have the scars to prove it!

Instead, at the end of the video, say something like "Get Your Free Ebook That Shows You How To [insert a solution to their nagging problem or promise a big benefit] at www.YourWebsite.com".

Then set up a nice squeeze page at your website where you bribe them with the free ebook in order to get them on your list. This can be a simple 10-15 page short report, but make sure that it does not contain affiliate links or a sales pitch of any sort -- just good, quality content (you simply want to build their trust at this point).

Then once they're on your list, warm them up with a few "quality content" emails to build their trust even more, and then every 3rd or 4th email mix in an affiliate offer with the quality content.

That will convert 1000000000 X better than sending YouTube traffic directly to a sales page (OK, that's maybe a slight exaggeration, but the difference really is night and day). And you will make a LOT more $ in the long run, because you will have an asset (a mailing list) that you can promote various offers to over and over and over again.
