Has anyone tried this? If so, what do you think? Worthwhile? Interesting? Informative?

I assume you meant the 30 day challenge by Ed Dale, Dan Reins etc... I am a strong advocate of that challenge myself, it is genuinely one of the best resources for a newbie to start making money online. They keep it stupid simple but effective, thats where I first begun and I recommend other to do so to. The most important thing is, these guys seriously know what they are doing (Check out immediate edge) and they give a newbie an actual workable plan.

I agree what these guys do will help many newbies start making an income online. It really all comes down to taking action and implementing what you have learned.

Yes, I am currently taking the Challenge now and love every second of it. I was paying someone big bucks on Fiverr for the same information, and they did not deliver the quality content these guys did. The challenge was really simple, and carries you from step 1 to your first dollar that you will make.

        Hi Ken,

I've joined the Challenge earlier today. I'm a total super-newbie. No experience, no website, no niche, in all, nothing. The program looks very impressive as far as I can evaluate it, but I can't help but wander how relevant it is to the 2013 conditions. I've noticed that the last UstreamTV activity goes back to 2 years ago and the last Challenge tweet was posted in May 2012. The Manifesto was written in July 2012, I think this was before the latest Google slap. I'm not trying to be negative, just wandering how much of the very important information in this program like SEO, monetization strategies etc will be valid in 2013.

          Hey Chrispi

I feel you when you say you are a Super Newbie, I have been at this for about 7 months now, and feel like I am not going anywhere. The thing I have gotten stuck on is the theme for my website (I think week two- day five), I took off the one that was put on by my website by the hosting company, because I think the premium theme I just bought will do better.

The guy I was talking to on Fiverr screwed me over bad, and I put in a dispute with my credit card company and I got my money back. That is when I started the Challenge, because I knew there had to be something better out there.. What I was looking for from the guy on Fiverr, I am now getting from the challenge. Trust me, you will not regret it, keep your head up, and in the challenge (you will have set backs). Your first dollar is just around the corner !!!

So personally I think the stuff is still relevant on the challenge, because the selling techniques/posting/searches/key words/etc, is still there, but just like any business. You have to change with the times, think where the customer is trending/going not been (but this is not saying what has worked in the past still want). The knowledge you will gain from Market Samurai will not go unused, I will say if you don't have Market Samurai, you will need to get it. I have it now, and I use it at least 2-3 times a week, and at times more. The same goes for the challenge itself, you will defiantly gain LOTS of info. I sure did !!!......................Ken

Thanks Ken, you certainly have advanced much further. I'm still in the pre-challenge zone. I have a full version of Market Samurai, which I purchased quite a while ago. Of course, instead of using it, I immediately began search for a bigger, better keyword tool ........Now, I am also a proud owner of Keyword Sniper Pro, Micro Niche Finder, Keyword Map Pro, Trend Miner Pro, Blog Profit Pro, eWriter Pro and the Ultimate Keyword Theme Extractor. I think you get the gist: They all have "Pro" or "Ultimate" in their names....Really sad....

I checked out the challenge a few years back and even though I didn´t follow it as I already had some knowledge in IM I can totally recommend it if you are a newbie. It´s perfectly laid out and you get all the right principles too, certainly a great way to start your IM career.

  • I'll go as far as saying that this is the ONLY resource that's worthwhile. For newbies or not for newbies, I have learned the best stuff there. There's a lot of trash out there, and the challenge is definitely not part of that. I really appreciated the honesty and transparency of Ed Dale about internet marketing. He says things that other 'gurus' don't say, i.e. everybody writes trash like a mum makes 20 billion dollars a week while changing nappies, but Ed Dale was the only one I have heard telling me 'look, this is, for the most part, no fun. It's a lot of work and persistence that you'll have to put in everyday'. He calls it 'the grind'. In another videos about adsense, there's a guy from his staff explaining that Adsense is really more of a test, and that all these products where you see a guy sitting in a Ferrari by the beach claiming he made lots of money with Adsense, it's trash. Seriously, Ed Dale made me think 'ok, I can trust this guy as a source of mentorship.' I have pretty much forgot about everybody else. And yes, especially if you are a newbie , there is NOTHING like the challenge. It is a serious system laid out in steps. It's not easy or difficult, you have to put in WORK and possibly earn no money at all, HOWEVER, what you walk out with, is a pretty serious grounding in internet marketing. I was a newbie when joining the challenge, but even though I am not 'advanced', I don't feel a newbie anymore.

The Challenge is excellent, and so is all the challenge team. The only niggle is that Ed is a bit too obsessed with gadgets like the Iphone etc, stuff I don't much care about ( I don't even have an Iphone). However about 80 per cent of the content, it's all top notch. When I feel overwhelmed or lost, I always go back to the principles taught there.
