I like to set up 15 - 20 emails in advance with a "blend" of free training materials, questions for some feedback and product promotions.

Of course promotional email with your affiliate link, but ensure you setup the relationship first with your readers, otherwise it is difficult to sell something to them. They even don't open up your emails..

Before you start thinking about generating cash, the most important thing is to build trust with your email list.Do not bombard with offers which they are not interested in.This is slow process and in time it will work in your favour.

How you do it is entirely up to yourself. I wouldn't copy what anyone else is doing though. Here's an example of how it could look...

Email #1: Introduction, Free report, Welcome to my list (or whatever you prefer)

Then it is time to get into relationship building. This is what it could look like:

Email #2: Valuable Information That is Relevant (send 1 day later)
Email #3: Let them know a little bit about yourself. (send 3 days later)
Email #4: I just created a bonus for you. (send 3 days later)
Email #5: Promotional offer (send 3 days later)
Email #6: Industry insight, follow by a promotion (send 1 day later)
Email #7: Value based information, connect on a personal level (send 7 days later)

This is a very broad question hence the many different flavors
of answers you'll get. What are you generating that cash
flow from? Do you have your own service, product or you are just
an affiliate? How did you build the list? Is this a prospect list
    or a customer list?

A lot go into setting up autoresponder emails which have to
be curtailed according to many different factors.

This has been discussed a couple times in the threads you
    were referred to above.

You want to pitch offers related to your niche. You received lots of good advice here, the only thing I will add is make sure you in some way, make a sales offer to your list as soon as they subscribe. Don't give several days worth of free advice, then hit them up for money - it confuses people. You want them to know and expect that you will be offering them good stuff that costs money.

    That's been my experience.

    Good Luck!

Write in a way that your personality comes through in your messages. Tell stories about yourself, people you personally know, and experiences that you've had. The better your readers connect with you, the more compelled they will be to open your emails. Think in terms of branding yourself. Do all of that and your readers are much more likely to take your recommendation on whatever offer you happen to be promoting.

    Hi there Albert

I'm not sure if you are getting people to confirm their subscription in your auto-responder but I read something on the internet suggesting the title of the confirmation email be changed, from the standard, 'confirm your subscription' to 'confirm to download your free XXXX gift', assuming of course that you are giving away something to entice them on your list.

I have been through and changed all my headings, based on the above and my confirmed optin-rate has doubled with this tiny alteration!

    Hope that helps!

    Clare
