Best way to make money back from buying solo ads?

If you can buy referral traffic from solo ads, you can get them at $0.30-$1.00 per click. If your building a list your squeeze page could convert say up to 50% so 1 in every 2 opt in to your list. What do you think is the best way to make your money back having the leads pay for themselves building you a list.
-->Sales Funnel - what would yours look like?
-->Follow up Sequence - what would yours look like? To recoup the cost of traffic.
-->If you were to build an entire product line/sales funnel that is 100% yours what shortcut would you take to recoup the money until you can have your own profitable funnel?

I use a follow up/email based seminar sequence. The first 90% is free. The final 10%, that's when I start 'suggesting'

The fastest way to recoup the money would probably be to present an offer to your subscribers immediately after them confirming their subscription. (instead of the usual thanks-for-subscribing page).

In addition, building a deep sales funnel is definitely the best way to maximize your ROI. That includes building trust, and a tight relationship with your subscribers, of course :-)

You should segment your list so you can always present them with super-targeted offers. Therefore the sales funnel would be different for every subscriber. But generally speaking you would start with lower ticket items, and eventually end up offering them higher ticket items like coaching.

    Hope that helps.

the best way is with low priced front end offers that build then into a higher priced sales funnel.

So what I do is immediately after they opt in, direct them to a thank you page with a low priced $4-7 offer, all the people that buy that are put on a special list where I then market higher priced products to them.

The low priced offer is really just to offset the cost of the ad, and to separate the buyers.

I set my list to single opt in and promote an offer which is highly related to my free offer

In order to get higher conversions I keep the price below around $11

Another things I do which works really well for increasing conversions is I use a few videos from my paid product as the free offer and then offer the rest of the videos as the upgrade/paid product

You can't get anymore related and relevant than this :-)

This is what i have always done and it works really well and a lot of my solo ad campaigns do very well

I don't hassel them on email with any offers until i have provided good content. Then i email them offers or show them something i bought.

I usually have a mini sales funnel immediately after subscription. Put on the hard sale to do something quickly. Usually at cheap clicks and high subs, you will be able to get an offer that gets $2-4 per sub, so then you can work back from there and usually break even if not make some cashola along the way.

If you're lucky, then an OTO may recoup a small solo ad.

Your sales funnel should recoup and profit all of your solo ad budget in due time.

Your sales funnel can include a OTO or a product that you recommend with some bonus which you create..

In the email follow up, give value to your list first and promote after 2 to 3 email follow up

Definitely use some kind of oto to upsell them to another offer. However, I just like to give them what they ask for, without any other selling. I'm here to provide value.

Paul gives excellent advice. Your subscribers are at their most responsive frame of mind during the first seven days or so. If you have an offer to make, make it on the 'thank you' page of the optin confirmation. I like the advice about keeping the price low so that you introduce new subscribers to your funnel and convert them into buyers who are far more valuable to you then subsribers to free products.
